Dog lover with 15yrs experience & flexibility
I’m a genuine dog lover with over 15 years of experience owning and caring for my own dog, who sadly passed away recently. Having a dog was a huge part of my life, and I really miss the companionship, which is why I’m looking to spend time caring for and walking other people’s dogs when they’re away or need an extra helping hand. I work offshore on a 2-weeks away / 3-weeks at home rotation, which means when I’m home I have plenty of time, flexibility, and attention to give. During my time at home, I’m available for dog walking, daytime care, and holiday sitting. I’m also a dad to two children (a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl). When they’re with me, they absolutely love being around dogs and are very calm, gentle, and respectful. Any dog in my care would be treated like part of the family, with plenty of attention, walks, and affection. I’m reliable, patient, and understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog. Happy to chat, meet beforehand, and answer any questions.

I treat every pet like part of the family. They’ll always be fully supervised, with plenty of playtime and fun in the garden, as well as lots of lovely walks — including hill walks where suitable. I focus on keeping pets happy, active, and well cared for, with plenty of attention and play throughout the day.

Stewart was great with Bertie! He sent lots of photos and gave me regular updates. Bertie was treated like a part of the family and given so much attention, which he would have loved. I would definitely recommend Stewart to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Thanks again!!
We couldn’t have asked for a better person than Stewart to look after our two dogs while we were on holiday. From start to finish he was fantastic — reliable, caring, and clearly a genuine dog lover. The dogs had an amazing time with him, full of games, attention, and lots of long walks. It was such a relief knowing they were so happy, well exercised, and being treated like part of the family. We came home to two very content (and tired!) dogs. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stewart and will definitely be using him again.
