I have been brought up in a household filled with pets. At one point my parents had 5 German shepherds, a miniature dachshund, a bunny rabbit and a pussy cat. I am totally obsessed with animals of any nature and love to spend my time surrounded by them. I have always looked after my parents and siblings pets for them when away on holiday and have for the past offered this service out to friends and work colleagues.

Stevie did an excellent job of looking after our three dachshunds. Stevie clearly understands the breed and I came back home to find three calm, contented and tired dogs!! I would highly recommend Stevie and we will definitely use her services again.

Stevie was absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our little puppy so we were naturally a little nervous, but from the first meet, we knew we were in very safe hands. The communication was excellent (a lot more than we were expecting) with regular updates, photos & videos. Biscuit had the best time! He already wants us to go away again so he can hang out with his new best friend. She went above and beyond and we came home to a very waggy tail!
Our 6yo Border had a lovely day at the beach with Stevie when we went to an event in Newton Abbott.

Schedule
I own my two of my own miniature dachshund, their names are Peanut & Norman. My priority throughout mine and my partners week is to ensure they are well exercised, with company as much as possible and they have a good routine in their life. They are more like our children than pets and are spoilt rotten, as is any dog we welcome into our home. Norman is a very chilled, relaxed (some would say lazy...) sausage and is very welcoming to have a new friend to either zoom around with or enjoy quiet time on the sofa together! Peanut is Norman’s opposite, he is a ball of energy bless him and spends his day zooming around like a little whirlwind, he can be loud and proud but loves to play once he gets to know you! I am available to help in any kind of capacity on Weekends only. House sitting I can be available any day, however I work 9-5 in TQ so would be unavailable during day, only available outside those hours if this suits.

Safety, trust & environment
I am probably the most protective mum to my dogs so I completely understand the need to be able to trust the person you are leaving your pet with. I am more than happy to meet with you beforehand if this is preferred, I can introduce you and your pet to my dogs to ensure everyone is happy going forward. When on walks, at home or at your home I will be totally guided by you with what safety measures you would like me to follow, for example animals on furniture, on/off lead time on walks, potential anxieties or behaviours behaviours to be mindful of.

A typical day
I will tailor any sitting service to your dogs needs. My dogs are completely versatile, they can go for a big walk or a slow mooch with lots of sniffs so we can work with your doggies taste for their stay. I will ensure your pup is stimulated during their stay both physically and mentally with good exercise and fun games. We take our doggies usually to a handful of local areas, their favourites are beaches and river walks. I will be completely guided by you and where your pup likes to go and explore.
