I have recently accepted a job working in an office with partial remote work. Until I settle into the new schedule I won't be taking new clients. January, I will have a couple retirees around the house regularly so dogs that work well with them will be the ideal (ones that don't jump up and/or are smaller dogs).

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fully fenced in back yard where my golden doodle loves to play and explore. She would show your pups her favorite spots to play. *Do note there are some plants that are known to cause tummy aches to pups in the backyard. It's never been an isssue in the past but if your dog is a strong vegetarian for things besides grass, please take note of this.

Information Steven V. would like to know about your pet
Do they have any special needs? Some examples: Do they take any medication or have any known health issues. Are they playful and friendly with other dogs. Are they in any teething or destructive phase. Are they food/toy aggressive? Are they potty trained and comfortable with a doggy door? If not, is it okay to teach them how to use a doggy door? *Important for boarding and daycare at my house: Do they have a tendency to nibble on plants? Have they been properly trained not to mark territory, especially indoors and in new environments? *Final note: If your pup has extremely high energy levels, a meet and greet is recommended for any new clients to make sure their energy and playstyle is a good fit with Taru's. :)
A typical day
Morning and evening walks (and mid-day when it's not crazy hot out) are a given. I have several puzzle treat toys that my dog loves to play with. Tug of war is a staple in the house, as is playing tag with toys. Taking time to learn new tricks and commands is also something we like to do. I also will break into dance and Taru will think it means it's play time soon (which it often leads to). There is also a nice dog park nearby my house that we frequent regularly.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of pups of all walks of life. Various breeds, ages, and temperaments. I can train any treat driven dog (even older ones) basic skills and commands.
Reviews

Steven was very caring and conscientious. Our doggy had a great time and a very safe environment and we will definitely request Steven again.

Steven had great communication and our dogs had a blast. They got along so well with his sweet pup as well! Steven was very easy to talk to and always responded very quickly. We are so happy to have someone we can trust to look after our crazy boxers!

Steven was excellent and helpful throughout the process and during Imani's stay at his house. He was willing to make time to do a meet and greet (which unfortunately I couldn't do based on my own schedule). When I dropped off Imani at his house, he also let me in and stay for a little bit so Imani could get more comfortable. Throughout the stay, he kept me involved and also sent pictures and videos. He also took Imani out for a walk, which I greatly appreciated.

Steven did a great job of taking care of our dog Atticus. There was a big yard for Atticus to roam around. He was tentative at first, but Steven was very patient with him and made him feel at home.
