A typical day
Every pet is different, so I adjust my care to fit their needs. High-energy dogs get plenty of playtime, walks, and engagement, while anxious or older pets receive a calm, reassuring presence. I reinforce training, offer cuddles when wanted, and ensure plenty of mental and physical stimulation. If a pet has puzzle toys or special games they enjoy, I’m happy to include them. Of course, downtime is just as important—I always let pets relax and recharge when they need to!

My dog loved Steven immediately, not even one bark and he is a fresh rescue and has been a bit skidish at first around others. Everything went great he was here one time, kept in touch with me and I let him know when we were on our way home so that he could go ahead and leave. great visit for al of us.
We were nervous for someone we didn’t know to pet and housesit. Steven did two visits with us and our pets to make sure we all felt comfortable. Upon returning home from vacation, our pets were happy to see us but they didn’t seem overly excited or stressed. This was a good sign that our pets were relaxed with Steven while we were away. We will be asking Steven to sit for us again in the future. Very happy with his care of our pets and home.
Again, Steven kept my old dog healthy and happy while I was away. Will definitely book again.
Steven has done both pet and house sitting for me for many years. My dogs love having him come and stay with them in our home.
