Your Pets Home Away From Home
Hi! We’re a married couple with a lifelong love for animals and years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds—from tiny hamsters to large breed dogs. Steven, being the oldest of three children, grew up taking care of his younger sibling’s pets, as well as his own (i.e., hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, and turtles). Liza’s family had dogs, cats and birds in her household (not all at once), and at one point ran a successful cattery. Currently, we share our home with two senior pets: Alfie, a 60lb White Shepherd Mix and Lola, a small Holland Lop bunny. We're the go-to pet people among our friends and family because we genuinely care, follow instructions closely, and tailor our approach to each animal’s needs. We’re experienced with crate and leash training, senior care, administering oral/topical medications, and giving lots of love and attention to pets who need extra reassurance. We offer: Dog walking – Whether your pup needs a quick break or a longer stroll, we walk at their pace and always prioritize safety and routine. Drop-in visits – Great for feeding, litter scooping, medication, companionship, or just checking in while you're away. Boarding in our home – Your pet will stay with us as part of the family. While we don’t have a fenced yard, we do daily walks to nearby parks, and our two-level condo provides a cozy, calm environment. Guest pets are welcome to integrate with our pets, but we also have a separate den we can use for those who prefer their own space. Since we both work from home, your pet will rarely be alone and will get lots of care and interaction throughout the day. Whether you're booking a walk, a quick visit, or overnight boarding, you can rest assured your pet is in kind, capable hands.

Steven & Liza watched my dogs while I was in the UK back in December for 12 days!! I got daily updates, photos, and videos on them which made me enjoy my trip much better. I forgot to give a review when I got back but thankfully I needed someone to watch my dogs again for an event we were attending. We were able to enjoy our time without worrying about the boys and we got regular updates while they were in Steven and Liza's care.
Steven was amazing with my American Bulldog XL, who can be a handful due to his size and strength. From the start, Steven showed confidence, calm energy, and experience handling large breeds. My dog took to him right away, which gave me peace of mind. Steven was attentive to his needs, gave regular updates, and followed all care instructions perfectly. I could tell my pup was happy, well-exercised, and comfortable during his stay. I highly recommend Steven to anyone looking for a responsible, loving, and capable dog sitter — especially for big dogs!
Steven was amazing with Rambo, my English/French bulldog who can be quite sassy! He handled Rambo’s big personality with patience, love, and confidence. I felt completely at ease knowing Rambo was in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend Steven to anyone needing a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter!
I can’t recommend Steven enough as a dog sitter! He took incredible care of my 80-pound pitbull, Jax, while I was away for a long weekend, and honestly, I think Jax was a little disappointed when I came back. Jax is strong, high-energy, and can be a bit reactive on leash, so I’m always nervous leaving him with someone new. But Steven handled him like a pro. He took the time to meet Jax beforehand, asked thoughtful questions about his routine, diet, and behavior triggers, and sent regular photo and video updates that put my mind at ease. I came home to a calm, happy dog and a spotless apartment. Steven even washed Jax’s food bowls and refilled his Kongs for the next day. He truly went above and beyond. Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of our daily life. We already care for two senior pets at home, so things like walks, feeding, playtime, and medication are built into our routine. Since we both work from home, we're flexible and can easily fit in walks, visits, or boarding without pets being left alone for long. We're used to adjusting our schedule to meet each pet's needs.
