Pet care fits pretty seamlessly into our routine. We're two fully remote adults, so we're home most of the day and naturally weave in walks, playtime, and plenty of hang outs inside and in the yard. The dog is basically our coworker — and honestly gets better breaks than we do.

Every guest dog gets the Kohi treatment — fed on their own schedule, walked at least twice a day, and given full run of the house. Since we're both home and working remotely, there's always someone around to play, sneak in some cuddles, or just keep them company. We treat every pup like our own, and honestly Kohi wouldn't have it any other way.

Before the stay, I love knowing the basics — feeding schedule, any dietary needs or allergies, what they're afraid of, how they do around other animals, and any medications. But also the fun stuff, like their favorite game or how they like to cuddle. It helps me make sure they're comfortable and happy the whole time.
A typical day
A typical day with me is pretty relaxed but never boring. We'll start with a morning walk, then come back and hang inside when it heats up — because nobody wants to be outside in SoCal summer, including the dog. We'll mix in some chill sessions out back when the weather cooperates, and honestly, a probably-too-long belly rub session because I simply cannot help myself.

Steven & Kim - We are a dog-loving millennial duo with no kids, and we work 100% remote on weekdays — so your dog will have company almost all day. We have a good number of years of experience raising puppies to seniors dogs and we take hosting seriously and treat every guest dog like our own. Your dog may return home convinced they are the main character of the universe — because we will have spent the entire time talking to them in a voice only dogs and dolphins can fully appreciate, dispensing treats like a broken vending machine, and playing until our legs give out. While we work from home, our schedules still keep us busy during the day at times, so we're unable to commit to lengthy exercise sessions or extensive physical activity for your pup if it's a requirement — but we make sure every dog in our care gets plenty of love, attention, and appropriate activity throughout the day whenever we can! We often take short breaks at least once every couple hours to take the dogs out for business, run around the yard, or play inside the house :) Meet Kohi 🐶 Kohi is our dog and the heart of this operation - Mexico born and rescued when he was 3 months old ♥ . He's friendly, playful, and loves fetch, tug-of-war, and removing cotton & squeakers out of toys. He's got a low-to-medium energy level — equally happy zooming around the yard or napping on one of his many beds. He does well with other dogs and people. One thing to note: he prefers dogs 50 lbs and under, so we ask that guest dogs stay within that range. What We Offer • Medications are no problem — we're experienced with that • Regular photo and video updates throughout the stay through text or Kohi’s Instagram stories • Minimum 2 walks per day and chill hangout time outside multiple times a day • Full access to toys and Kohi’s ultimate treasure cabinet full of treats! • AC when it gets too hot and 6 dog beds throughout the house • Partially fenced front yard and fully fenced back yard with shade, turf, and pavement (We always are supervising the dogs when they are outside) Requirements: • Up-to-date vaccinations (required) • Flea and tick prevention • Spayed or neutered • 40 lbs or under • Friendly with dogs and people • One dog at a time — your pup always has our full attention • Quick meet-and-greet before the first stay so the doggos can get comfortable. I had been searching for a daycare service I could truly trust with my baby for a long time. My dog has pretty severe separation anxiety, but even after Steven and Kim-Anh learned about it, they were very understanding and happy to take care of Mahur. She is usually very cautious around new people, but she seemed to feel safe and comfortable in their home. Both Steven and Kim are very passionate about training, and they spent a lot of time playing with and caring for Mahur. I finally feel relieved knowing that I’ve found a daycare I can trust completely. I would absolutely love to continue bringing her here in the future.
