Hi! I’ve been doing this officially for four years, but I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. Primarily cats, but dogs as well. Caring for animals is my passion in life, and am aiming to make this a life long commitment! It brings me immense joy meeting new animals and forming bonds. Caring for animals for so long has given me the ability read cats very easily, and I know how to spot their boundaries and how they want to be respected and treated. I always aim to make them feel comfortable and safe! Especially if I notice any signs of anxiety, I will always allow them to approach me first. My main focus is caring for cats, but I can also care for your dog. I currently have a handful of dogs I care for! If you by chance have others animals that you need taken care of (that aren’t dogs or cats), I’m more than willing to do that as well. I will adjust the rate after I learn what kind of care will be needed. When I care for your pet, I will give you regular updates and photos.

When it comes to watching your pet, I will make sure I am meeting their specific needs while also treating them like my own. I want them to feel safe and relaxed whenever you’re away, and I also want you to be assured your pet is in good hands! Please leave a review after services are finished! It helps me gain more clients and allows me to continue doing this full time. Of course, if you have any questions, I will happily answer.

Love the notes that Steven leaves at the end of each visit to tell me about the progress of his interactions with my shyer cat and what he does with my more outgoing one! Makes each time I go on vacation a less stressful knowing my cats are in good hands and the notes and photos are always one of the highlights of my days away!
Second time Steven watched our cats and he did a splendid job! Our kitten particularly warmed up to him with snuggles and playtime 😊 He was also so helpful bringing in our mail and watering our plants. Also appreciated that he sent over lots of photos because we missed them terribly on our trip!
Steven was awesome about communicating when he was dropping in and leaving and trying to coax our shy cat to come out to play. Her area was kept tidy and she was fed everyday. Steven was great about being flexible and fulfilling extra requests. So kind and helpful! Highly recommend and would love to work with him again :)
Steven was very attentive to our dog! He's a younger dog with lots of energy and Steven was great with him.
We are so grateful to Steven for taking care of our cat, Scarlett, for 9 days while we were away. Steven made sure Scarlett was well-fed, comfortable, and entertained throughout our time gone. Steven was extremely flexible with the hours and was communicated to us often. Steven sent us regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing she was in great hands. Scarlett clearly warmed up to Steven quickly, which is always a good sign! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will absolutely reach out to Steven the next time we need someone to care for our beloved pet. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Please keep in mind that I have several clients, and if I’m housesitting for you, I won’t be staying in the house 24/7. If I do leave the house, it’s a max of 4-5 hours. I’m there to feed them dinner, stay the night, and feed breakfast. Needing me to stay longer or in the house 24/7 is a different situation, and please mention if so. I will need to adjust the rates if that’s what you need, since during the day I’m usually driving around and doing drop-ins for my other clients. Thank you in advance for understanding! I’m available to do drop-ins pretty much any time of the day. For morning drop-ins, the earliest I’d like to schedule is 9:00am. If you need an earlier time, let me know and I’m happy to discuss and find something that works. I love driving around and taking care of pets, but if I’m doing a lot of back and forth driving for drop-ins, I will ask for gas funds.
