Dog Boarding in Balloch
Over the past year I’ve welcomed a variety of dogs into my home and have really enjoyed building relationships with both pets and their owners. I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. Because I work from home full-time, your dog will have constant supervision, companionship, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I aim to provide a calm, safe environment where dogs can settle in comfortably and feel part of the household. Living just minutes from Balloch Country Park and Loch Lomond also means we have access to some fantastic walking routes and outdoor space for exercise and enrichment.

This was the first time I had used Rover and leave my dog with someone he didn’t know. I left Steven with an essay of all my dogs “quirks”. Steven was reassuring that he had experience of “quirky collies”. Steven sent regular photos and updates over the four days he stayed with him. Will definitely book again if needed.
Bronagh returned from her stay with Steven in great condition and temperament. She has been very well looked after and looks very well. Thanks, Steven.

Steven managed to squeeze us in last minute for our elderly boy when an emergency cropped up. We were nervous as had never used a service like this before and our old boy is set in his ways but he settled with steven quickly. Steven went at our boys pace and worked around his needs. Would highly recommend Steven and we would definitely use him again

Schedule
Working from home full-time allows me to offer very consistent care. Your dog will rarely be left alone and will be able to follow a relaxed daily routine that includes: • Regular walks • Play and interaction throughout the day • Plenty of rest and quiet time when needed I am available most weekdays and weekends for boarding.

My home provides: • A calm household environment • Constant supervision due to working from home • Easy access to nearby parks and walking routes Dogs are treated as part of the household while staying with me, and I make sure they receive the same level of care and attention they would get at home.
A typical day
Your dog will start the day with a brisk morning walk at Balloch Park or along Loch Lomond, followed by playtime in my secure garden. Throughout the day, they’ll enjoy companionship while I work from home, with plenty of belly rubs, and attention. Afternoon walks and enrichment activities are tailored to their energy levels, ensuring a fulfilling, safe, and happy day.
