Professional house/ dog sitter.
*I'm based in Stirling not Crossgates but I wanted to incorporate more of the coastal areas which I love being in. I would travel further for sitting opportunities but you can't alter the 60 mile radius on here* I've been around dogs my whole life and always had cocker spaniels growing up. I'm also on Trusted House Sitters where I've had some amazing sitting opportunities looking after senior dogs as well as excitable young pups. I'm only available for dog sitting in your home and am willing to travel within a few hours of Central Scotland. I've looked after dogs in coastal areas of Fife, Gullane, Stonehaven and up in Cromarty. Local sits in around the Stirling area are also ideal as I do work from home but I do have the occasional in person meeting.

Unfortunately I'm not able to offer pet sitting in my home. I am willing to travel almost anywhere in the UK as long as I can get there by public transport and I have sat pets in their own home before for several weeks. Even when I'm working I'm not strict in terms of working hours and there's still plenty of time for play time, snacks and long walks. Your pet would still be a priority and would get the attention they deserve.

Steven did a great job of looking after my house and very needy dog and even my house and garden plants! I would have no doubts about recommending him and would certainly ask him again if I go away.
Have no hesitation about recommending Steven to housesit for my dogs, they were well looked after, so much so my dogs are looking for him after the holiday finished.
I've known Steven for years — we used to work together and quickly became great friends, often walking my dogs side by side. His love for dogs has always been so genuine and heartfelt. Over time, I’ve seen him care for dogs all across the country, always going above and beyond to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. He often sends me pictures of the dogs he’s looking after, and it’s so clear how much they enjoy being with him. Any dog would be lucky to spend time with Steven, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly as a caregiver.
I would highly recommend Steven as a pet sitter. He cared for our very old Old English Sheepdog, Ronnie twice over the past year. Steven obviously loves dogs having a kind and gentle demeanor. Ronnie needed a number of medications and Steven was great with these, he was terrific when Ronnie was especially poorly for a couple of days when we were away. Steven loves to walk in the company of a dog and is happy to play with them. .Additionally has always left the house exactly as he found it. All in all an excellent pet sitter who has always been keen to meet the needs of our lovely hound
Steven has looked after our dog a couple of times. Once for four days or so and then for 10 days. Otta is enthusiastic shall we say so Steven was very patient and met all her needs. He was very responsive and organised and straight forward to deal with. He kept the house immaculate and was friendly and pleasant. I’d definitely recommend him to look after your home and pet/s
I have known Steven for over 28 years. He has always loved animals, especially dogs. He grew up with cocker spaniels and has always has had a soft spot for this breed. He has been pet sitting over the past year in various parts of the UK and has had wonderful reviews. He did some travelling in Australia and New Zealand and stayed with friends. When the friends came back to the UK to visit family Steven cared for their 2 beagles. Steven is literally the cleanest, tidiest person I know and would take care of your home like his own. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Steven as a pet sitter.

Schedule
I work from home for Stirling Council and work Monday to Thursday. This leaves ample time to travel to sitting opportunities and settle in before starting back at work. As I work from home I need to get out for a good long walk every lunchtime and regularly do 2hr circuits of Stirling.
