Steve can care for
Availability
I'm available for dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs or cats, Monday through Friday between 8 am & 4 pm. I’m not usually available on weekends, however, if you’re in a bind and need a walk or a visit on a Saturday or a Sunday, and I have no plans that weekend, I most likely will be able to do it as long as it’s no later than 12 pm.

Safety, trust & environment
For your dog's safety, dogs are prolific sniffers, inevitably putting things in their mouths that they shouldn't. I pay close attention to and keep a watchful eye on the ground to make sure your dog doesn't put anything in its mouth that can be harmful. In the unlikely event your dog or cat needs medical attention, I’m certified in cat and dog first aid by the American Red Cross.
Information Steve W. would like to know about your pet
Before I walk a dog I like to find out its tendencies: does he or she have any special needs I should be aware of? How does your dog behave around other dogs, people, cars, etc.? This information is critical to my providing the best and safest care possible.
A typical day
The Meet & Greet provides me with all the information I need from the pet parents so I know what to expect when walking their best friend. If there’s a preferred walking route then that’s the route we’ll take. It’s important to follow a routine your dog is used to, especially in the beginning, so he or she is comfortable and anxiety is at a minimum or nonexistent. If we return from a walk early because of inclement weather, I play fetch using their favorite toys. It keeps them engaged and active while inside when playing outside isn't possible because of bad weather. Also, you’ll never see me having a conversation on my cell phone (except for emergencies) during a walk. Your dog deserves my undivided attention.

Dog Lover Offers Caring Dog Walking
Pet care experience
When you love dogs or cats that love will always be with you whether you’re caring for your own pets or someone else’s. I believe pets should be treated like people, with love and a concern for their comfort, happiness and well being. After owning a family retail business for many years, and then working for a major national bank, it was time for a change. Why not do something that involves my love for pets? Dog walking was the answer. For the past eight years I've been delivering dog walking services to pet owners, ensuring strict supervision of pets during excursions while providing a safe and nurturing environment for dogs with different needs, temperaments and medical conditions. Most importantly, you can rest assured that the safety, security and well being of your dog will always be my number one priority.
