Walk dogs. Play with the dogs and cats and keep them content. And hang out on watch lots of TV together. Since I’m mostly retired I have lots of free time to spend with the pets.

All instructions by owner for their pet care will be closely followed and respected. I’m sensitive about pets food needs and won’t feed them human food or let them up on the furniture if not allowed. Cat litter boxes will be cleaned daily. Longer stays will include brushing and baths for the dogs.

I will sit most dogs excluding xtra xtra large breeds. It’s good to know about all health issues of pets and special needs before the sitting begins. I’ve had parakeets in my life, so I know how to care for them and cats also.
A typical day
Many walks to the nearby parks, playing catch. Hanging with me watching TV. I walk twice a day and canine companionship is always wonderful unless otherwise instructed by the owners.

I’ve been sitting dogs at my Florida home for many years. I moved to Asheville two years ago for work and now I’m mostly retired. I live in North Asheville in a small apartment and available to house and pet sit. Having boarded dogs in my own house for many years you can bet I will give your home utmost respect and your pets the best care and companionship.

We were worried since Rowdy has never been away from us. Rowdy did fabulous. He loved the fenced back yard. We were updated with photos of him totally relaxed and enjoying himself. He was clearly well cared for and very relaxed when we picked him up -- I think he's a little bored with us lol. Cannot say enough good things about the vibe of their home and yard and they clearly love animals. Plus Rowdy got to play with their friends dogs. We would not hesitate to use them in the future. Steve was awesome. He kept me up to date with Ginger and send me plenty of photos. Super easy to communicate and always answered my text. I would definitely board Ginger with Steve again. She seem to have had an amazing time. Thanks again for watching Ginger.
Steve was very easy to work with and my dog Pepper had a good first stay with him. Communications were good and Steve made immediate arrangements for a meet and greet. Pepper seemed comfortable with Steve and his home quickly. There was a nice fenced backyard that Pepper could roam around in and explore. Pepper is used to being allowed on the furniture at home and Steve allows this also in his home. During the stay I got a daily picture and update. Pepper was happy and healthy when I picked her up. We will likely use Steve again. Thanks for taking good care of Pepper Steve!
Just picked Oliver up from a 14 day stay with Steve. He was healthy, clean, happy to see us, but also seemed quite content and at home at Steve's house. Oliver is very calm on returning home, unlike after a previous stay at a kennel. It is clear that he was quite comfortable with Steve. He got a lot of love and care while we were away and we wouldn't hesitate for a minute to board him with Steve again. Great experience.
