I graduated UCSD in 2024, and now currently working a full-time remote job, which gives me the mobility to still do Rover as a part-time job, which is awesome!! I have been working for Rover since 2023 now (3 Years of Experience). I’m an organized individual, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and work on Rover while working a full-time job. I will communicate with you in a quick and timely manner, which will allow you and your pet to have a smooth experience using rover.

Safety, trust & environment
At home, I make sure to be consistent with my dog and cat’s schedule of eating/playing/walking. I know my cat and dog love their routines, and as their parent, I show them my love by always being on time with their routines and giving them cuddles. For my dog, in the beginning, I learned to be patient with her as she was adjusting to her new house and did not know where to use the restroom. But through patience and perseverance, Lucy became potty trained as she started to feel more comfortable and happy in our new home!
Information Steve N. would like to know about your pet
I am fully prepared if your dog or cat has high energy as I understand from experience from both my cat and dog. However, if they are more timid or chiller, I will accommodate and adapt to their needs. The most important responsibility I have as your pet sitter is respecting you and your pet's boundaries and space.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog on walks at the park or the beach to fully make sure their spurt of energy needs are met, but only if you are comfortable with me taking them out. I also would not mind bringing in some of my extra cat toys to play with your cat! My goal is to satisfy both you and your pet’s needs, including cleaning after them.

Pet care experience
I am determined and willing to travel up to 30 miles to take care of your dog or cat. I have a huge adoration for taking care of pets, having a cat and dog of my own. I hope to get more experience of animal caretaking through rover, and in the future, when I have the money and resources, I want to build a shelter of my own to take care of stray dogs and cats. *** On occasion, my girlfriend Kylie would come along with me. She has a wide range of experience of owning and taking care of different cats, as well as having some experience walking some of my clients’ dogs in the past and house sitting for them. Kylie and I make a great team when she comes along, giving extra assurances of love towards your pets!!!
Reviews

Steve was an excellent cat sitter; responsible, communicative, and very attentive throughout. He followed directions carefully, kept me updated, and made me feel confident that my cats were in great hands. I really appreciated how reliable and thoughtful he was, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.

You can tell that Steve truly cares not only for your pet, but that you as the pet parent feel assured that they’re in great hands. Great communication and flexibility, will be returning to Steve when the opportunity arises.

Steve is wonderful! He is very communicative and sent lots of picture updates. I was not stressed at all leaving my cat because I knew how well he was being taken care of.

Steve is fantastic, exceeded our expectations! Highly recommended
