I'm a part time Cyber Security, Zen & Yoga Student, so I have time to take care of your fur baby, or babies. I typically have morning, mid-day, and evening availability for cat and/or dog drop-ins (visits), and dog walking. I'll be staying at a Yoga Temple (Ashram) in San Francisco where I'll have some extra duties, and responsibilities. However, my overall flexibility will still be very good. I'll stay at the Ashram while I get my Yoga on! lol!

Information Steve M. would like to know about your pet
Please share the chip number(s) with me before, or during the meet and greet if your pet(s) is/are micro-chipped. Please also let me know who your vet is in case of emergency. Pets are our children, so we must always take measures ahead of time to keep them safe. Let me know if your pet(s) has any special needs. Also, let me know about the normal behaviors vs. abnormal behaviors of your pet(s). Does your pet have any aggressive tendencies? Does your dog typically do well with other dogs? Where does your dog like to be petted? Where doesn't your dog like to be petted? What are some of your dog's favorite things to do? What kinds of triggers might your pet have? Does your dog do well with children? What kinds of medications does your pet have, and when are they taken? Does your pet have any allergies?
A typical day
If convenient, I like to take dogs to places like Dolores Park, States Street Park, Duboce Park, Alamo Park, Corona Heights Park (enclosed dog park), Collingwood (enclosed dog park), Buena Vista Park, and other local San Francisco parks so that the dog(s) can easily socialize with other dog(s) (if the owner allows), and humans alike. For dogs that I have been with a long time that excel at obedience, and come when called, and I have permission from the owner, I like to play fetch with the dog(s) at the park. Once back home, if the dog(s) still have pent up energy I love to play tug-o-war with her/him (them) with their most loved doggy toy(s).

Pet care experience
NOTE: Here at STEVE'S PET SERVICES we carry Dog Walking INSURANCE and have passed the ROVER 101 EXAM for BEST PET CARE PRACTICES because WE CARE about YOUR KIDDOS! I've been around cats and dogs my whole life, and have at least 15 years experience caring for cats and dogs whether working for clients, or helping out friends and family. I love cuddling with cats, and rubbing dog bellies! I had a dog walking client where I walked, played with, fed, gave medication to, and watered the dog every single day for 7 months straight! I also booked a number of other dog walking clients EVERY WEEK FOR A YEAR TO START AND STILL ONGOING!!! I had a cat for 10 years while growing up, and later in life my brother had two cats that I helped take care of for 5 years. For another client, I took care of two cats, a huge outdoor garden, and a large indoor plant for 10 days with two drop-ins per day, morning and evening.

Reviews
Steve and his assistant Annie took good care of our sensitive, high need kitties and our house. They kept us in the loop with updates and photos which were very reassuring too. Glad to have found cat and house sitters in our neighborhood to make our future travels less complicated!
If you are looking for a very reliable pet sitter Steven is your guy! I feel what makes Steve stand out from the rest is he takes the time to bond with them which makes all the difference. I have had so many pet sitters coming through for my 2 cats, most turning out a disaster. I trust Steve as well. He slept at my home and kept my home in tip top shape. He is truly a pet lover. And my cats loved him too!!

Steve was incredibly loving with our elderly dog and cat. He was punctual, great at communicating and providing detailed descriptions and photos of our kiddos, and gave us such great peace of mind while we were away from them. Our kiddos seemed to take to him quickly and he was very attentive in learning how to best care for them. They are old and quirky, so it wasn’t always easy, but he did a great job. We really lucked out with Steve because we had another Rover sitter back out at the last minute and he was amazing. We will definitely ask Steve to watch our kiddos again.
My brother and I grew up with our cat Tony and in recent years, he was an excellent go-to for help with my 2 cats in my SF apartment. More than just being super attentive to the detailed feeding routine, he was great interacting and keeping the cats company. I've seen him take care of dogs and other cats and he's a natural at caregiving and supporting pets. He's trustworthy, very considerate and makes sure he does the best job possible. Now that he's created Steve's Pet Services, it's just a matter of time before everyone finds out that he's the best person to hire!
