I do have a full time job but have some flexibility. For the most part I am available after 3 every weekday and available most weekends. I can even accommodate early morning visits if given notice.

I can’t care for client’s pets in my home because of my own dog, but my first ironclad rule is to follow the pet owner’s instructions to the letter when it comes to theirs. I also maintain respect for the owner’s home as rule #2…. then all of the remaining effort is put into making sure that pet is purring or wagging while I’m there. I understand it takes a considerable leap of trust to allow someone in your home, but I will go out of my way to make sure that I earn that trust.

I am very capable with special needs pets, a master of instructions, and more than capable of thinking on my feet. I have seen just about every scenario that can be seen with a dog or cat...experience can be an enormous asset when it comes to pet care.
A typical day
If your pet is fond of a particular toy or activity just clue me in...I love to see 'em happy. If not, I'll have just as much fun figuring it out with them.

Pet care experience
I have cared for a wide variety of dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. Some advantages I have over others is uncommon patience, and I have met very few domestic animals in my life that haven’t warmed up to me with ease. My wife and I have very recently had to care for our elder dog of 13 years but we unfortunately lost him to cancer. I am an Air Force Veteran and my wife is currently the President of a local VFW Auxiliary. We have lived, worked, and even owned business in New Castle County for almost 15 years. We are honest and upstanding people who happen to love, love, love animals.
