A vacation for your dog!

Dog Boarding, Training, and Socializing Services A Vacation for You and a Life-Changing Experience for Your Fur Baby Welcome to our home-away-from-home experience for dogs. If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and structured environment for your pet, you’ve come to the right place. I joined Rover to provide a true home experience while you’re away. Here, dogs rule the house, enjoying sofas, loveseats, and a variety of comfortable dog beds. I prepare fresh meals daily for my pack, and while your dog is here, they’ll enjoy a portion alongside their own food. These meals include fresh chicken, rice, coconut oil, scrambled eggs, and veggies, prepared like a giant omelet. We’re happy to adjust for special dietary needs—just let us know in advance about allergies or sensitivities. What We Offer Dog Boarding: Safe, structured, and loving care in a real home environment. Dog Training: Building obedience, confidence, and adaptability through proven techniques. Dog Socializing: Encouraging friendly behaviors with supervised play, group activities, and enriching outings. Community Seminar: Join us for “Creating the Best Family Dog” each month at Pet Supplies Plus in New Hartford. Why Choose Us? Tailored Care Your dog’s daily schedule will match your routine as closely as possible. Whether it’s specific walk times, meal preferences, favorite toys, or exercise habits, we’ll create a personalized experience. Activity & Enrichment Our property is designed for fun and stimulation. Dogs can explore ramps, steps, and jumping platforms for mental and physical exercise. For older or less active dogs, we offer short walks and relaxing options in sunny or shady spots. Social dogs will enjoy group play and enrichment every day. Safety First To ensure a secure environment, all dogs must be well-trained and friendly with people and other dogs. Unsupervised dogs will rest in a comfortable, enclosed 8’x6’ carpeted area with a doorless crate during feeding and downtime. Our Pack My four rescued dogs from Guatemala create a welcoming environment for every guest: Cypress: The playful pack leader who loves to run and chase. Nala: The calm house director and couch queen. Dhurva: The observant food-finder who joins play in her own time. Ginny: The happiest and most playful spirit, connecting with every dog she meets. Together, they serve as companions and mentors for visiting dogs, making every stay enriching and fun. Our Expertise: Mayan Dog Rescue Foundation is 501(c)3 non-profit organization! We feel so lucky to have found Steve! Our dog Reyki is quirky and we spend a long time searching for sitters that would be the right fit and right environment for Reyki. We trust Steve 100% with our girl! Plus she loves going there! He takes her for lots of walks and she is very happy with him! Thank you Steve for taking such amazing care of our girl!

We are very grateful to Steve for his gentle caring to make Charlie feel comfortable. He made recommendations before and during our dog’s one time stay. We felt reassured that Charlie was in good hands. Thanks for sharing videos with us.

Steve, another great visit for Sadie. I want to thank you for the time and effort you put into making her such a great family dog. I've taken what you've done and explained to me and am keeping up with her training. You were absolutely correct about not letting her run the fence line with the neighbors pack of unruly dogs. Took a few days but she got the message and she's much calmer and obeying commands again. I've been down with COVID since we saw you last but will follow up with you as we discussed. Thanks again for caring and sharing!

Steve was amazing with our dog Georgie. He made us feel comfortable with leaving him for a few days while we were out of town. Georgie hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs but Steve was great about introducing everyone in the pack and Georgie quickly became one of them. He sent us lots of videos and pictures to keep us updated on how Georgie was doing and made the entire experience stress-free and we knew Georgie was being treated very well! When Georgie came home he was calmer than we were used to him being around us. Steve gave Georgie lots of exercise and enrichment time during his stay. We would absolutely have Steve watch our dog again. Steve was wonderful!
