Pet care experience
A home isn't a home without a dog!
I've had dogs since I was a child and this has just carried on into my adult life. Our lab is my wife's 1st dog although she is now a complete convert. We have 3 kids, 2 who are with us half the week and one who is with us all the time. We have a 7 year old Lab retriever who just loves cuddles and being made a fuss of. We have no special skills to offer other than love and attention. Your dog will be cared for and our home offers loads of room to run around. We are also really close to Barnes park and regularly have trips to the beach. I'm a keen runner so if your dog is up for it then it would be more than welcome to join me for a little trot. Our kids are used to being around dogs and respect that when told they have to give a dog space.

Steve and his family took great care of Sarge, my silver lab. It was quite last minute but Steve was more than happy to meet beforehand so that I could meet the family and see where Sarge would be staying for the night. I received plenty of updates, sarge settled in straight away and loved his little holiday! Will definitely be booking Steve again knowing that Sarge was happy there.
Absolutely incredible experience with Steve and his family! They took amazing care of my Bernese, and I truly couldn't recommend them enough. The updates I received were fantastic, Mia looked so happy and clearly loved spending time with their dog. They definitely went the extra mile to make her feel at home. Five stars all the way!
A big thankyou to Steve and Lucy for looking after Sykes again. I would highly recommend them to any one who isnt comfortable leaving their pets. Sykes settled in no bother again they made him feel like part of their family .. Thankyou for having him

Steve has been great and welcoming from the offset and made us feel very comfortable leaving the dog with him and his family as first time users of rover. Provided a lot of photos and updates throughout the dogs stay and looks like he had a great time! Would highly recommend booking through Steve and we will definitely be booking with him again in the future!
No rating high enough exists. My dog had the best time, came back lovely and relaxed which is not usual for him staying somewhere. Loads of photos and updates really put my mind at ease. Couldn't recommend Steve (and family) highly enough. Will be going straight to him if I need a sitter in future.

Schedule
We both work full time Monday to Friday however I have the option to work from home so depending on needs we can flex during the week. From Fridays we are generally around all weekend for walks and cuddles.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a rear yard that I'd fully enclosed above head height. Our lab isn't crated but we do have a crate if this suits it is an XL so feel free to provide your own if that would suit your pooch. Our lab gets walked on a morning and evening but we can accommodate whatever would be your normal routine.

A typical day
If your dog loves the park they will love their time with us we are a short walk from Barnes park and Back house is just down the road too. Rain or shine I love a good walk with Velly by my side
