Walks with Grandpa yesss
Best thing about retirement is being out adventuring with both my daughters dogs. I have experience caring for dogs who are reactive, nervous and also fully blind. I enjoy seeing how happy they are outside, playing and cuddling. The rewards are ten fold any effort put in. My favorite walks are Lofthouse colliery and Stanley Ferry canal side, perfect for dogs. I am knowledgeable on the local area and know many walks suitable for all dogs, ages and abilities. I am also the holder of an enhanced DBS.

Steve was wonderful with Rupert who took to Steve straight away.While in his care for only an afternoon and early evening he went on two walks with Rupert.Iwill not hesitate to use Steve’s services again.
Steve was brilliant with Django. first time he’s ever stayed away from home without us and clearly enjoyed his 2 nights away. steve was very accommodating with drop off and pick up times, sent regular photos on some really lovely walks. lovely clean house and a secure garden. couldn’t have asked for someone better! cheers steve

I have just picked my dog up from his first stay with Steve. I am so grateful for finding him. We met up for intros before hand and I ensured I’d updated all Sam’s details, routine and quirks to ensure that Steve knew as much about Sam as possible. Steve shared daily updates with me and I could clearly see Sam was having a great time with some varied and different walks. I will definitely be using Steve again and would not hesitate to recommend his services.

Schedule
I have been retired less than a year. My time is all my own and of course the dogs in my care. Walks are one of the highlights of my day rain or shine. I can adapt my daily routine to match any dog in my care.

I have plenty of house space with doggie comfortable areas. Easy feeding and watering place. A fully enclosed easy to clean garden for a dog to relax in the sun or shade, when not out walking.
A typical day
I find the companionship of dogs amazing, I love seeing them happy and content! I enjoy playing in the house, going out on walks and cuddling up after the exercise.
