Walks with Grandpa yesss
Best thing about retirement is being out adventuring with both my daughters dogs. I have experience caring for dogs who are reactive, nervous and also fully blind. I enjoy seeing how happy they are outside, playing and cuddling. The rewards are ten fold any effort put in. My favorite walks are Lofthouse colliery and Stanley Ferry canal side, perfect for dogs. I am knowledgeable on the local area and know many walks suitable for all dogs, ages and abilities. I am also the holder of an enhanced DBS.

I have just picked my dog up from his first stay with Steve. I am so grateful for finding him. We met up for intros before hand and I ensured I’d updated all Sam’s details, routine and quirks to ensure that Steve knew as much about Sam as possible. Steve shared daily updates with me and I could clearly see Sam was having a great time with some varied and different walks. I will definitely be using Steve again and would not hesitate to recommend his services.
Steve regularly looks after my dog. My dog loves going to his house. Steve is very accommodating and reliable. 100% reccomended. 🐶🐶
Ashley has stayed with Steve several times. She’s always happy when she arrives at his house, she gives Steve a big greeting & runs straight into his house & makes herself at home. Steve always sends lovely photos and videos to share their lovely walks.
Steve looked after our dog Lou while we attended an overnight wedding. He took such excellent care of her, he sent plenty of pupdates and had no issues at all administering her medication. It gave us immense peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Thank you so much Steve, we will definitely be back in the future 🐶🐶🐶
Ashley’s had another lovely day with Steve. She’s come home happy & chilled.
Oscar stays with Steve quite regularly now and absolutely loves it there.

Schedule
I have been retired less than a year. My time is all my own and of course the dogs in my care. Walks are one of the highlights of my day rain or shine. I can adapt my daily routine to match any dog in my care.

I have plenty of house space with doggie comfortable areas. Easy feeding and watering place. A fully enclosed easy to clean garden for a dog to relax in the sun or shade, when not out walking.
A typical day
I find the companionship of dogs amazing, I love seeing them happy and content! I enjoy playing in the house, going out on walks and cuddling up after the exercise.
