I'm a huge animal lover and had the joys of growing up with dogs in my family - two large German Shepherds, a Beagle, and a Shitzu/Bulldog-cross. My friends have always insisted that I get a dog of my own, however, this wasn't possible while renovating my house. Now that my house is complete, I'm keen to look after dogs as I move towards the goal of eventually owning my own 😊 I have plenty of room for dogs, including access to a spacious kitchen, living room, and a yard. I welcome pets on the couch or bed with me if that's their thing - this was always the norm during my childhood. I go on 3km walks at least twice a day in flat areas located in my neighbourhood - this includes a stretch of canal, nearby reservoirs, and best of all, a large natural open space away from any roads which is perfect for dogs and tends to be very quiet. This is where I take quality photos of your dogs having fun! We left our 5 year old dog with Steve for the weekend - we received lovely photos throughout his stay and when going to pick up our dog, he seemed sad to leave! Steve is clearly a dog person and I would trust him to take care of our dog in the future!
Steve and Rachel were great with our 2 dogs, one is a lot more active than the other and they both understood their separate needs and even helped give medication to our dog. Would highly recommend, was kept updated the whole time they were with them. Brilliant!
Steve was really great with Darla, sent us nice pictures of her and kept in touch well. Really nice person and great environment for dogs. Will definitely be using again
Steve takes very good care of Fip which we appreciate very much. Fip has stayed with Steve several times and now gets excited as soon as he arrives outside Steve’s door. Steve is now our first choice as dog sitter and very much part of Fip’s family.
Comet always has a great time staying with Steve. She's so extras soon as she recognises where we are going!
Comet was in such a good mood when we collected her. She must have had a great time with Steve because she mostly just napped all afternoon after she got home.

Schedule
My calendar is kept relatively up to date and you are welcome to contact me to check availablity. When looking after your dog I will go for walks first thing in the morning, at lunchtime, and every evening. I also have a secure yard to ensure regular toilet breaks 👌 Dogs are welcome to relax anywhere they feel comfortable, whether that be my sofa, bed, the floor, or in their crate. I like to take lots of photos and share these with owners for their peace of mind.

Safety, trust & environment
The ground floor of my house has waterproof vinyl tiles, and the back garden is secure (and backs on to a well-maintained, secured alley). All windows are out of reach for dogs and come with safety latches as standard. All doors and windows are kept locked unless in use. I have a minimalist aesthetic in my home, which means there is less clutter and plenty of space for your dog to play/rest.
A typical day
Walks in the morning, walks at lunch, and walks in the evening. I'm happy to run with the dogs, play fetch, tug-of-war, roll around playfully inside my house and in the middle of a field, and of course... cuddles on the couch or bed!
