A safe, fun home for your dog!
My wife Lori and I have been dog owners for decades. We have owned Basset Hounds (2), a Border collie lab, and a Cockapoo. We loved all of them and will bring that love and affection to your dog as well. Our dogs have since crossed the "Rainbow Bridge" so we now concentrate all our time on our Rover dog friends! Our goal is for you to feel like your dog is on vacation - soaking up some sun, running outside, enjoying doggies treats, and getting walked whenever they like! Our home is a split level with a fenced in yard and plenty of shade. We are retired so we are "on duty" 24-7 and can give your dogs all the attention they need and want. We will send you regular email and photo updates so you can feel secure that all is well with your pet in your absence. Please note, while we love all dogs, my dog was once attacked by a Pit Bull, so our policy is not to take Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes. Also, since we frequently have more than one dog at our home, if your dog does not get along with others, it's probably best to seek another sitter who will handle your dog alone.

Steve and Lori are absolutely lovely and create a nice vacation for my dog when we go away. He loves his time with them and enjoys the big fenced in yard and walks. We continue and will continue to use Steve and Lori for our pet care.

Whenever we go out of town Steve and Lori are our go to dog sitter! Brittany and I have left our black lab Reggae with Steve and his family on several occasions over the last two years. Every stay has been wonderful! We know Reggae is safe and having fun while at Steve and Lori’s and that is a great feeling. Very trustworthy, nice house, safe backyard and just great people. We have a fenced yard for your dog to run. There is a small forest of trees so your dog can keep an eye on the squirrels that inhabit it!
A typical day
We love dogs - who doesn't? So when we sit your pet, they will receive as much love and attention as they do at home. Walks, playtime, toys, fun are all part of the stay with my wife and I. And since we are retired, they can hang with us and won't ever feel lonely. We have a quiet neighborhood not far from walking trails, and a fenced in yard that's good for running and playing. Your dog has his/her choice of sleeping areas - we have doggie beds, couches, chairs, but we do like to keep them off the beds if possible.
