It’s important for me to know anything that helps keep your pet comfortable, happy, and safe. I like to ask about their daily routine — feeding times, walk schedule, and any favorite toys or activities. I also want to know about any special needs, medications, or quirks in behavior, like leash reactivity or anxiety triggers. Details like how they do around other animals or people are super helpful, too. Basically, anything you’d want someone to know if they were stepping into your shoes for a few days — I want to keep things as consistent and familiar for your pet as possible.
A typical day
I keep pets happy and engaged in ways that match their personality. With doggos, that usually means fetch, tug-of-war, or walks exploring new interesting smells. For cats, I’ll break out toys for play sessions or just hang out for cozy cuddle time if that’s more their style. My goal is always a happy, tired, and loved pet by the end of the day.

I grew up in a home full of animals — usually three dogs and a cat (or more) at any given time — and my family often fostered rescues. Over the years I’ve also volunteered at multiple animal shelters, so I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m experienced with the day-to-day essentials like feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning and giving basic medications. Above all, I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely love what I do — keeping pets happy, calm, and cared for while their people are away.

Stephen was absolutely wonderful! He took amazing care of our two pittie mixes for two weeks while we were in Europe. They got so much TLC, fun adventures, and the perfect balance of play and comfort. One of our dogs needed medication, and Stephen handled it with care and confidence. He kept us connected the entire time with photos and videos — it was such a relief to see how happy and relaxed our pups were. We came home to two content, healthy dogs (and a tidy house!).
