I lost my best friend of 13 years on April 8th, 2017, Yuki. I thought that would result in me not taking dogs anymore, but my 5 years of hosting dogs is even more important to me now. I know that it is sometimes hard to find someone to sit your dog, so I figure I should offer to help out. Last minute situations are fine, if I am available. My house has completely enclosed back yard to hang out and comfortable couches [unless that is a no-no for your dog]. I know when I was away I didn't want to have to worry about my dog; you don't have to worry about yours. I do not take Pit Bulls or Pit Bull Mix dogs. I don't send daily, but regular, updates/photos. Twice daily walks or to the park, depending on weather and interest of dog, feedings, scratching and petting on the couch. I don't reserve your dates on the calendar until you have reserved with credit card at Rover to insure first committed, first served. Suggest reservation ahead, as my calendar fills quickly, this is especially true around holidays. Despite Rover's policies, I only take two dogs at a time to insure plenty of individual care and attention for you pet. So my calendar may look open when it is not. Must do a Meet/Greet before bookings. I work as a consultant so gone once in a while for up to four hours, but Maggie is usually always here. But we don't guarantee we are here 24 hours a day. Fenced yard, doggie inside area, open door to outside so lots of room to roam and sniff and lay in the warm sun on the concrete.
