I do work a full time job but it allows for some WFH days every week. Besides that I do get off early on Fridays making me available for most weekend and long weekend pet care.

I have a love for the outdoors which makes me enjoy being outside as much as possible. My screened in porch allows for me to give my cats supervised fresh air and sunshine. I love going on long walks but also love sitting on the couch and lounging for those fur babies that might just like to cuddle up.

A typical day
I love to go on walks and hikes to explore new areas. Dogs are meant to be long distance runners so understanding that they need new stimulants, such as fresh smells, is needed to truly tire out an energetic pup.

Pet care experience
I have done extensive pet care since my family adopted our first dog when I was 10 years old. I personally adopted my first cat when I was starting my senior year in college. He was an orphaned 3 week old kitten who was covered in ring worm and required bottle feeding every 2 hours. He has grown into a very healthy, and loving, cat and since then I have adopted 2 adult cats. Aside from my personal pets I have also watched and walked many friends dogs and loved them like my own. My major in college was Wildlife Enterprise Management and it allowed me to learn a great deal about both wild and domestic animals and it caused my passion for all fur babies to grow even more.

Stephen was such a great sitter for my cats! He’s good at communicating, sending photos and keeping on schedule with drop ins. When I returned home it looked like everything had been very well tended to and I could tell that he remembered to do everything that I had asked. Would highly recommend Stephen he’s a great guy!

Stephen is great with all animals. He has watched our dog over the years as well as pet sitting for friends while attending college. He found his own kitten abandoned at two weeks old and took on all the responsibilities of caring for it.
