I work full remotely, so your dog will always be attended to and will always have company with myself and my other dog. There is a full backyard for them to play in, as well .

Day care is at a house near Marconi and Del Paso, with a large fenced backyard, another dog, and plenty of interior room for all pets. Dogs who like their own toys and beds/kennels will need to have those provided.

Your dog should be fine with other dogs, and not have food aggression issues if their feeding schedule is different from my dog's. Your dog should not be destructive, as any damage caused by the dog will be added to the bill.
A typical day
There are fun nature trails in my area as well as the river, and a dog park is a 5 minute drive downtown if they are socially prepared.

Pet care experience
I've lived with dogs for the last 12 years of my life and have fostered lost dogs at multiple times in my life, and currently have a husky puppy I've raised since birth. I can offer basic training using the Victoria Stillwell methods of positive reinforcement, using patience and love over intimidation to get results I need. Your dog will be in great care with one other happy dogs who lives in the house.

Stephen was a great dogsitter! His dogs are larger and more high-energy, which makes Chancho really anxious. At his suggestion, we did a backyard slow meeting between the dogs, one at a time, and Stephen picked up on Chancho's attitude and needs immediately. Chancho was definitely overwhelmed, but Stephen picked up on his body language, walked us through a couple strategies he had to keep the dogs safe and happy, and assured us that he'd be in touch if need be. Any concerns I had about leaving him with a new sitter were alleviated by the time we headed out and I knew Chancho was in good hands! Stephen was very responsive, sent photos when we checked in, and made pick-up easy as well. We'd definitely recommend Stephen and look forward to seeing him the next time we book.
We have been bringing our dogs to Stephen's place for a couple years now. He does a good job with our three little monsters and it feels like we have a friend caring for them.
