I am in the process of transitioning to full time sitter, but for now I am available early mornings from 6am-8:30am, and evenings from 5pm-8:30pm. Friday evenings through Monday mornings I am 100% available any time!

I check in regularly throughout the day. Fresh food, fresh water, on schedule every time. Dogs get walks and exercise matched to their energy level. Cats get a clean litter box and plenty of respected space. I watch closely for any change in mood, appetite, or behavior — and I'll reach out right away if anything seems off.

Pet care experience
I grew up with pets, at one point three cats, a dog, and a few smaller critters, so I've learned to read animals well. Dogs tend to warm up to me instantly, and cats are my specialty: even the ones who "don't like anyone" usually make an exception for me. I know cats and dogs have very different needs, and I tailor my approach to each whether that's respecting a cat's space and letting them come to me, or matching a dog's energy on a walk. No two pets are alike, and getting to know what makes each one comfortable is my favorite part of the job!

In full transparency, Stephen is my son, so I have known him for 36 years. But at the same time, my husband and I are both business owners and know how important the right fit is in a job. What we can honestly say about Stephen is that he is probably the academically smartest person we have ever known. He is smart and can figure out how to do a job as efficiently as possible. I think the reason he wants to walk animals is that he is tired of the stress of heavy work and wants something he truly enjoys. Stephen loves animals and they love him. It's a nice stress reliever for him to be with animals who just love you and don't judge you. :) He explained to us last night that this is what he REALLY wants to do. If, for some reason, he were very sick, we would jump in and help. Please let me know if you have any specific questions.
