Pet care occupies my time outside of my day job and it gives me an excuse to get outside, provides possibilities of having some company and socialization for my dog (she does especially well with puppies), and other opportunities to get out and be the excitement in or exercise opportunity for a fur baby or fur babies outside of my own.

I usually give the animal space and time to feel me out, as well as the environment if they are in my home. I know that not all animals warm up right away and that it may take several visits for the animal to become comfortable with me - I am patient and perfectly fine with this.

A typical day
I love blading and hiking with dogs, as well as taking them to their favorite places to go and play fetch (or hunt gophers and squirrels if that’s what they love). I also will introduce my dog to yours if your dog gets along well with other dogs too - I have a Red Merle Aussie and she’s as friendly as can be!

I am a lifelong lover and owner of pets with over 25 years of experience. Having had companions, including several dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, and even a rabbit, I have a knack and love for caring for and playing with animals. I am a current fur dad as well to an Australian Shepherd and a rambunctious little Seal Point Bengal. By the way, if your dog isn’t prey driven, I don’t mind rollerblading them and helping them to get some exercise if that is an option! All of what I make here by the way is going towards my MBA degree at USC and continuous veterinary bills for my dog with prescriptions and dietary restrictions.

Stephen was absolutely amazing with my cat ! I booked Stephen last minute for 6 days . I am glad he was available. I could not have found a better sitter for my cat. He made sure to feed and refill my cat’s food and water while I was gone. He sent tons of pictures and very responsible in communicating with me over the Rover app! He checked in timely and was extremely professional, he spent a lot of time playing with my cat! I will definitely book him again
Stephen has been wonderful with my dog, Lucca. He is attentive, loving, and truly understands Lucca’s high energy needs as he himself has an Australian Shepherd. Stephen walked Lucca while we were away for two weeks and he always came back happy and well-cared for. I received regular updates that included photos of a happy Lucca! I fully trust Stephen with him and recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable dog walker or pet sitter!
Stephen has taken care of my two kittens several times, and he has been wonderful. He is incredibly patient and genuinely loves the kittens. He takes extra time to help the younger one eat and plays with both of them. Stephen is also great at communicating, sharing regular updates and photos. I will definitely book him again in the future, knowing my little beans will be in good hands!
I've known Stephen for at least 10 years through cycling and our dogs. Stephen has taken care of our Aussie Shepherd many times, both at our house and for sleepovers at his house. He's been terrific, trustworthy and competent. I recommend Stephen to anyone who needs help taking care of their dog.
