If you need to know a sitter will be at your home 90% (or more) of the time, I'm your guy. I’ve been around dogs all my life, and on Rover for seven years on a different account with multiple repeat clients in three states. I’ve also worked at a kennel and a vet's office. I've cared for injured and senior dogs. I'm conscientious, communicative, tidy, and enjoy taking and sharing photos, as dogs are one of my favorite subjects.

I aim to meet the animals needs, whatever they are, and attempt to mimic its normal routine. I make sure they're eating as usual and have taken any necessary medication. I'm attentive to signs of distress. I walk and play with more active pets and I'm comfortable with older and lap dogs as well. I'll talk to them plenty. They'll also be respectably clean when you get home.

Stephen is awesome! He was able to accommodate us even though it was very short notice. We have 2 dogs, a small Maltese and a big Weimaraner. The big one can be imposing when you walk through the door and she barks at you with her hair standing on its ends, but Stephen immediately sat in the floor and let her get it all out of her system without a flinch. He knows how to put the pups at ease! My wife works from home and the dogs are used to someone always being there, Stephen is the first sitter we’ve had (and we’ve tried out several) that showed up with a suitcase! We knew immediately that this guy was what we have been searching for, someone that would basically live in our home while we were away with the sole purpose of watching over our furbabies. And he did his job impeccably! He sent lots of pics and video without us having to ask and was always prompt with a response if we ever needed him. When we returned home the house was still tidy and in order and I’m pretty sure the dogs looked past us trying to figure out where Stephen was, LOL. If you need a drop in visit or someone to come by and walk your dogs this guy can do it all and I promise your pets will look forward to him returning, and if you need someone that will basically live in your home with your furry loved ones while on vacation then look no further you have found the pinnacle of dog sitting! We will definitely use Stephen for any dog sitting needs we have in the future.
Stephen is amazing with our pets! He takes such good care of them and our home. We are able to enjoy our time away knowing he is there. He communicates well and regularly! Would highly recommend.
Stephen was great! He got to know my dog.. and what she liked and basically got a Shetland sheepdog to trust him as family. He handled an HVAC issue. Several old house glitches and definetly left it in better shape than it was. He was reassuring. Sent pictures and texts. Took her on long walks and hikes! We couldn't have asked for a better person to stay in our quirky 130 year old home and love our 10 month old dog for two weeks! If you want someone who will really care about your dog- you won't regret booking Stephen!
Stephen did a great job with our Shetland sheepdog. He played and walked and got her to trust him. He went with what she wanted and she was very happy. Could not ask for a better dog sitter.
Stephen was great. Came and met our dogs before our trip. While on the trip, he sent updates through pictures as to how our dogs were doing. He left our house in great shape. Will definitely rebook with him.
Stephen is reliable and trustworthy. I have 2 dogs. He did a fantastic job caring for our older pup, who requires a bit of extra patience and medication. He provided updates and left our house in perfect condition. It was a relief to have someone dependable and I will definitely request him again.

Schedule
I will be with your dogs 95% of the time for house sits. I keep my excursions for food or supplies under 2 hours. I’m currently not employed elsewhere and for the time being can treat this like a main thing. I’m able to be with your animals easily 95% of the time you’re gone. Seems like a plus.
