Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I don’t intend on caring for pets in my home, and the way I care for pets in your home will naturally depend on which pets in which home - apologies but I’m uncertain how I can meaningfully answer this question for a job where adaptability is key.
Ratings and reviews
I completely trust Stephen with my dog, Ellie. He is kind, and responsible, and she loves him. Ellie is almost 100 lbs and can be a handful, but Stephen manages her beautifully. Several times he has stayed at my house with Ellie when I have traveled out of town. I recommend him as an excellent dog walker/pet sitter with no reservations! I am grateful that I can call him any time I need help with Ellie .
Stephen is wonderful with my dog and I am very picky. He is caring and gentle, and prompt about feeding times and dietary restrictions. He is very personable with my dog. What is most important to me is that Stephen understands how important it is to me that the dog be treated lovingly, but he is also aware of when a dog needs to be redirected from bad or dangerous behavior. He has never been aggressive with my dog either, and she is always very happy and excited to see him. Stephen has always been kind to pets, so he has a calm disposition with them.
