Experienced dog owner with 40+ years of experience. I have previous experience of working in a dog rescue centre and have always had a family dog until very recent years. I am now retired and have a lot of time on my hands which needs filling with 4 legged companions who are looking for some love, affection and never ending strokes while their human family are away.

Once again. Stephen looked after Bertie perfectly. Bertie very comfortable with him and enjoys his stay.
Stephen was very welcoming at drop off, Forrest immediately made himself at home and enjoyed his stay. We will use him again. We highly recommend Stephen.
Very good and kind
Stephen took wonderful care of my dog, Buddy, during his 5-day stay. Since Buddy is an older dog, I was specifically looking for someone experienced who could provide a calm home environment without other pets, and Stephen was the perfect choice. He was very caring and attentive to Buddy’s needs, especially during the very hot weather. Stephen made sure Buddy stayed comfortable throughout his stay. Buddy also sheds a lot during this season, and despite his house being full of Buddy’s hair, Stephen was very kind and understanding about it. He suggested to take Buddy to a groomer for coat shave. It showed how genuinely concerned he was for Buddy’s comfort and wellbeing. Overall, Buddy had a very comfortable, safe, and caring stay with Stephen. Thank you, Stephen, for taking such great care of Buddy while we were away on holiday.
Stephen had Bertie for the second time. Bertie is happy and settled with Stephen. Stephen has got to know Bertie’s character very well. Have re booked for July. Thank you Stephen for looking after him so well.
Steve was wonderful with Bertie. Got to know Bertie very quickly. Steve is having Bertie for 2 nights from 11/5/26 to 13/5/26. Which I have booked and paid for through Rover. I am relaxed and know Steve will look after him to perfection. Well done Steve!

Schedule
I am recently retired and have no regular commitments in my day to day life and so I am well suited for dogs that can't be left alone for long periods

I have a fenced garden for regular outside wee/play breaks, and am happy to take your fur babies to nearby fields in my car for a longer run around if needed
