Dog Dad with Fenced in Yard
I began my Rover journey in the summer of 2023 and have since been blessed to provide care for dozens of pets around Wake County. I maintain a small book of business in order to provide flexibility and extra detail for those that entrust me with their four-legged family members. Given that I only board or day-sit for one family at a time, my availability does fill up quickly at times but I do have room for new clients who wish to begin using my services.

Stephen always takes such great care for our black lab, Maggie. He is extremely helpful when it comes to any requests. Maggie is always so excited to get to his house and we appreciate all that Stephen does to make sure Maggie has a wonderful stay.

This was our first time using Rover and we had such a great experience! Stephen was quick to respond. We set up a meet and greet and got to know him and his dog, Maple. My husband and I felt completely comfortable leaving our dog with him for the weekend. He sent pupdates at least twice daily. Definitely will book with him again!
I would 100% board my dog with Stephen again. He was easy to schedule and communicate with and made sure all of my questions were answered. He sent lots of updates and my dog came home happy and tired.
Stephen is great with taking care of puppies. He always keep the updates coming and pay attention to details. Ours had another enjoyable staycation with Stephen, his family and Maple.

Schedule
I work a remote job with no set schedule so I am always available for walks, fetch, or consistent water bowl refills. I love breaking up the monotony of my days by taking breaks and giving extra love to my own dog and I would be thrilled to do the same for yours.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard which has proven to be a safe space for play and exploration for our own dog. I can crate if needed in the office with me or in a separate room if your pup is introverted. Our dog free-roams all day but usually spends most of her time laying on the couch, yours is welcome to do the same!

A typical day
Most play will be conducted in the confines of our yard but I am happy to take your pup around the block if requested! We have sidewalks throughout our neighborhood that make a perfect loop for getting the energy out. I consider myself a pro fetch thrower and I have even been known to purposefully lose tug-of-war a time or two.

- All new clients are required to come over for a meet and greet. We utilize this opportunity to: •Ensure compatibility •Analyze client pet behaviors •Discuss pet routine •Allow owners to inspect where there pets will be staying IMPORTANT: Any pet that shows signs of aggression during meet and greet will be denied service. DO NOT request to meet if your pet has shown aggression towards people or other pets. Let me know if there are any specific needs that your dog has! I am happy to administer medications or adhere to strict guidelines/schedules.
