Peaceful Nature Boarding for Dogs
Dogs staying with me experience a calm, structured environment rather than a busy multi-dog household. I host only one family’s dogs at a time so they receive individual attention, quiet rest, and consistent care. My home is in a wooded setting where dogs enjoy peaceful outdoor walks and time in nature instead of crowded daycare environments. This is especially helpful for dogs that prefer calm surroundings, including senior dogs or dogs that become stressed in high-energy settings. Through my work as a mindfulness practitioner, I naturally pay close attention to behavior, energy, and comfort so dogs feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.

Stephen has taken my Shetland Sheepdog, Journey, to stay with him many times, often up to a couple weeks at a time. I always think of Stephen first, as he is so good with animals of all kinds. He's extremely attentive to their needs, and loves to provide the healthiest food and environment for them. He loves animals, and he thrives in the caretaking role. I think of Journey's time with Stephen as like a spa vacation, where he gets to stay in a peaceful, natural environment, while being well taken care of (almost pampered, maybe).

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I spend much of my time at home and outdoors. Dogs staying with me receive regular walks, outdoor time, and a calm environment throughout the day.
