Hello! I’m Stephanie. I am ready to take the stress out of boarding your pets! After some time away, I’ve reopened my home and am looking forward to meeting some new four-legged friends. I have owned and cared for dogs of all types for most of my life. From lap dogs to bully breeds, I am a firm advocate for all dogs and believe that every pet deserves a patient, loving environment. My background in rescuing and fostering has taught me how to help dogs adjust and thrive, even when they’re away from their owners. Stephanie was so good with Gertrude. She made her feel at home and provided every possible amenity and comfort. Gertie got to run the huge yard and smell all the leaves, bushes, literally everything. She’s never had a big yard and was thrilled. Will books with Stephanie again for sure.

Stephanie & Laci were amazing with our 2 doodles! We got pictures, videos, and updates on our dogs throughout our week long vacation. They got spoiled with all the fenced in backyard playtime, cuddling and fun playing with their 2 dogs. It was like our dogs got their own vacation! I was a little nervous going into this-our youngest doodles brings a lot of puppy energy, our older doodle is on anti-seizure medication, and we hadn't boarded our dogs with anyone for a couple years. But they were in such great hands-and I wouldn't hesitate to bring them to Stephanie & Laci again.

Full-Time Availability I work from home every day, so your dog will have all the bathroom breaks and playtime they need throughout their stay. Because I am here full-time, I can provide: • Continuous Supervision: Your dog is never left alone for long stretches. I am always present to monitor their safety and well-being while I work. • Routine Consistency: I stick as closely as possible to your dog’s existing schedule for feeding, medication, and naps to ensure there are as few disruptions as possible. • Flexible Outdoor Time: There’s no waiting for a "lunch break"—your dog can go out into the fenced yard whenever they need to. You can rest easy knowing your pet is in a safe, attentive environment all day long.

I am comfortable and capable of caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. • A Calm Atmosphere: Because I currently have no other pets in the home, your dog will enjoy a peaceful environment without the stress of competing for attention or territory. • Open Communication: I believe trust is built through transparency. I am happy to provide photo and text updates so you can see exactly how much fun your furry family member is having while you're away.

A Typical Day: Trails, Play, and Relaxation When your dog stays with me, their day is filled with the perfect balance of activity and comfort. Because I work from home, I am available throughout the day to ensure they are always engaged and well-cared for. • Outdoor Adventures: When the weather permits, I love taking dogs on walks. My home is located right by the extensive trail system of Elm Creek Park Reserve, offering plenty of new sights and smells for your pup to explore. • Backyard Playtime: My large, 5-foot fenced backyard is the heart of the action. It’s the perfect spot for long games of fetch, zoomies, and plenty of supervised running and playing. • Routine-Based Care: Whether your dog thrives on high-energy activity or prefers a quiet afternoon nap by my desk while I work, I follow their lead. I aim to mirror their home schedule as closely as possible to keep them feeling settled and happy. From morning trail walks to backyard playtime, your dog will enjoy a fun, active, and safe environment all day long.

Every dog reacts differently when away from home, and knowing their specific habits helps me ensure they stay safe and happy. When booking, please be up-front about any of the following: • Behavioral Quirks: Are they a digger, a "counter-surfer," or an escape artist? • Training & Needs: Are they fully potty trained, or do they need a more frequent schedule? • Comfort Levels: Do they experience separation anxiety or fear of loud noises (like thunderstorms)? My goal is to make sure my home is the absolute best fit for your pet. The more I know about their habits and temperament, the better I can tailor their stay to keep them feeling secure and at ease.
