Hi, I’m Steph. I’m the proud paw-rent to Baylen, an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who I foster failed with and adopted in 2018. Baylen is a friendly, laid back pup who gets along well with other dogs. I grew up with dogs and have always loved them. I started dogsitting with Rover in 2019 and have really enjoyed the experience of getting to meet and care for all different types dogs.

This was Zoey’s second stay with Stephanie and it was just as amazing as the first! Stephanie was super communicative, responsive, and sent the best photos and videos! I never had to check in about how it was going, because Stephanie proactively kept me updated. Zoey was obviously super comfy and right at home there, and it made being away on a trip so much easier! I would love to book with Stephanie every time, and I’m sure Zoey would too!

The best ever! Thanks so much for celebrating Ciabatta’s birthday while I was away! and thanks for the birthday bandana and birthday crown too! I’ve lost count of how many times Stephanie has watched Ciabatta but every time I’m at ease and know she’s safe and having the time of her life!

Schedule
I live in a spacious 1-bedroom condo in the Gold Coast; two blocks from Washington Square Park, and a 10-minute walk to the lake and Lincoln Park. I stay pretty active and when the weather is nice, Baylen and I enjoy running along the lakefront or through the neighborhood.

I have experience watching dogs of all types: small and large dogs, puppies, older dogs, dogs with anxiety and behavioral challenges, dogs who require medication administered, dogs with food allergies, etc.
Pets
A typical day
Long walks around the neighborhood, to the dog park (if your dog is friendly with other dogs), to the lakefront and dog beach. Lots of playtime and belly rubs. Tons of chew toys and tennis balls to play fetch with.
