I have a fenced in yard and a safety cover on my pool during non-summer months. Dogs are never left outside unattended. My dogs are friendly and good role models. I have taken obedience classes and do not hit or yell at dogs. I do use treats, pets and positive words for good behavior.

A typical day
We will walk in my neighborhood that has some wooded areas, play ball in the backyard, play tug, use snuffle mats, puzzles and even food or treats in grass to help stimulate the dogs. There will also be downtime in the sunroom relaxing and listening to birds, or in the family room on the couch with me, the dog’s recliner or dog bed if they choose. Additionally we’ll work on basic obedience through the day.

I currently have two, and have had dogs my entire life. I have been a dog foster for two years and have fostered 17 dogs in that time. I have experience with all ages from whelping a litter of six puppies to my 12 yo dog that I lost six years ago. I also love cats but sadly my son is allergic so we aren’t able to have any in our home. In addition to my own pets I have cared for friends’ and family’s pets, foster dogs, and volunteer at SPCA walking dogs.

Great, thanks for leaving out food for the outside cats as well!
Stephanie did a wonderful job pet sitting my dog and two cats over the Thanksgiving holiday. She sent great pictures and even got a picture of my 3/4 feral cat! She went above and beyond to pick up and clean up some "accidents" that my 15 year old dog had. I got to cook a turkey for my 82 year old father. 5 stars, highly recommend. Thank you Stephanie!
