I’m a retired massage therapist/firefighter married to a retired firefighter/paramedic and have been rescuing Rhodesian Ridgebacks and wolf dogs for over 20 yrs. I provide daily hikes on the blm land behind my house, and couches or dog beds to lie on after. I love big dogs and promise a happy, tired experience. I’ve worked for veterinarians, and used to breed/show Rhodesian Ridgebacks, then discovered to joys of rescuing adult dogs. I’ve also owned 3 wolf dogs so I’m good with all sorts of behavior issues and the gentle ways to address them. I’d love to offer a great holiday for your dogs while your away on your vacation. I have a 3 story house on 5 unfenced acres with a 50 x 50 fenced area, bordering blm by the Carson River. I have no problem with leash or off leash (after evaluation) and look forward to meeting you. I’ve had 2 bad experiences with dog sitters who promised to walk my dogs daily- and each took my dogs for a walk once in 3 weeks-this won’t happen at my house since I love to get out! If you have multiple dogs, I’m your person! Just a bigger excuse to work out! Rest assured, your active dog will be taken care of, or your older dog will be cherished in my home. I have a dog ramp for cars, a handicap ramp for my house, and have used a dog wheel chair and lifting/walking aids . I can handle most medical situations and don’t have problem with “handicap” dogs. I’ve also lived in farms most of my life and am able to care for all your horse and livestock needs. Also good with snakes/reptiles (I currently have 4) fish and birds.
