Doctorate in public health field & degree in animal sciences/pre-veterinary medicine (attended veterinary school for a short stint before human health). Provide services I always looked for: reliability, responsiveness, & loves animals. Patient with those who need to warm up, love cuddling couch loungers & fun going for walks with pups that enjoy more activity. Experience with animals from birth to senior years & various health conditions. From cuddles and walks to surgery and inpatient care - I have experience. My own pets have been small to VERY large. I look forward to bonding with your fur-family members so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. I try to help Rover pet owners looking for someone with experience when available. We could not have asked for a better sitter! Smooches is usually very nervous and stand offish and on night one jumped in bed with Stephanie for a snuggle, which she never does. We are so thrilled that we found such a great sitter for our temperamental girl.
Stephanie had to deal with my 16yo dog not wanting to eat and having accidents and she was WONDERFUL! Super communicative and on top of the situation.
Stephanie is great! She was timely, sent me photo and video updates and I felt totally comfortable leaving my home and dog, Simba, in her care for the weekend. Will definitely be booking with her again in the future and already have her reserved for another weekend in a few weeks!

Stephanie was wonderful with my dogs. My Golden had surgery the day before and we needed someone to watch him for a few hours. She kept our German Shepard busy while our Golden rested. She made me feel very comfortable leaving my fur babies with her. I will book her again!
Stephanie was great! Gave me plenty of updates (as requested) and came home to 2 happy healthy pups.

PLEASE READ BEFORE MESSAGING: -Days off: present nearly 24/7 -Booking on a workday: pets who can be unsupervised for A FULL workday (or drop-in plans made by you with neighbors, etc. [please let me know]). Work 11A - 7P so able to do morning & evening routines on workdays -Off the Friday before “working weekends” -Message if interested to book a Rover sitting, occasionally can take new clients. Earliest availability is last weekend in July. No availability in August

Rent an apartment in the area, but also a homeowner, so understand entrusting your home to a house-sitter. Safety & a good experience for your pet(s) is my priority (& respecting your home). A typical day
Every pet is unique! Some dogs thrive outdoors. Others prefer being a lapdog (or cat) & cuddling while watching TV. Some need more stimulation, such as puzzles and games, & others a mix.
