We will love your dog like our own
Looking for a new dog sitter in the Ankeny area? Reach out to me and my husband. We would love to hear about your needs. We have a unique situation at home. With 3 adults in the house (my 21 year old son is still at home),your dog will have lots of love. Also, limited kennel time as someone is home around 18-20 hours a day. We have had many different dogs throughout our lives. We have experience with big and small dogs, old and young dogs, happy, timid or aggressive dogs. We believe in our ability to make your dog feel like home. We have a fully fenced yard. We have various size dog beds and toys in the house. We will listen to your care instructions and take care of your baby like our own. We follow arrangements made by you for sleeping, including sleeping with us if that is what your dog is used to. We feed dogs separately to eliminate any food aggression. We will play fetch, take your dog on a walk, and your dog will be able to play with our Cavalier King Charles if wanted. We do kennel dogs when no one is home for their safety. We only keep 1-2 dogs at a time and they must be from the same family. We look forward to taking care of your dog soon.

I work outside the home but between my husband and I, someone is home a lot with our differing schedules. Our schedules are some what flexible.

I have a fenced yard for your dogs to run around in and lots of toys for them to play with in the home. We have two dogs of our own if your dog wants a play mate.

A typical day
My husband and son and I truly love dogs and they will have a great time in our home. We live near a lot of great places to walk them such as a pond and prairie ridge area. We have various kinds of toys and a large fenced yard for your dog to play with. Have a dog that’s a little shy? That’s ok too. We have experience with this and quiet places in the house he or she can feel comfortable in.
