Information Stephanie S. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know anything that your dog is bothered by (cars, bicycles, lawn mowers) so I can avoid these triggers on the walk as well as any allergy information related to treats. I would also like to know how your pet normally likes to spend their time at home so I can provide them with a comfortable experience while you are away.
A typical day
I enjoy walks in neighborhoods where the dog will have space to move about and stretch their legs away from large groups of people. I like to take stops at parks and play, and I can work with all sorts of energy levels. I also love working with cats of all ages and energy levels, and I am happy to provide play time or snuggle time - whatever your cat prefers I am happy to accommodate!

I earned my bachelors in Zoology from UW Madison and masters in wildlife ecology from the University of Illinois. I have 1 year of professional husbandry experience in accredited zoos, 2.5 years of professional experience at UW Vet Care as an animal caretaker for cats, dogs, and exotics, 4.5+ years of professional experience in wildlife ecology working with captive and wild animals, and over 17 years of experience as a pet sitter, dog walker, and animal caretaker for cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits, and more! In my home, I have a senior cat(Chaos), and in the past I have also cared for my pet tortoise (Olivia), senior cat (Junebug), rat(Mr. Diego) and terrier mix(Nina). I will treat your pets as if they are my own-with lots of love and attention! I feel strongly about providing your pet with the best care because they deserve it, and I carry myself as a professional in all capacities.

Stephanie did a great job once again sitting for my cats! One of my cats has a tendency to kick litter out onto the floor, and Stephanie went above and beyond and cleaned it up. Like last time, the pictures she sent of the cats were super cute and funny, and helped me feel at ease about having her there looking after them.
Stephanie did great taking care of our two cats! She sent us detailed writeups about her visits and some really funny pictures that captured the cats’ personalities perfectly. We plan to book with her again in the future next time we need a sitter!
Stephanie is dependable and excellent with my cats. Even my shy cat comes out to greet her.
