Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie and my husband’s name is Scotty. I’m currently in grad school, and I work as a nurse one day a week. Scotty works from home full-time, so someone is almost always around. I previously owned a special-needs senior German Shepherd, so I have experience with medications, and I am a nurse so I am comfortable giving injections. We live in Leschi and walk by the waterfront daily — it’s one of our favorite routines, and we’d love to have your dog join us while you’re away!

We had such a great experience with Stephanie watching our two Frenchies, Rey and Luna, over a long weekend! They truly went above and beyond to make sure both dogs were comfortable and well cared for. We especially appreciated the extra attention they gave to our Frenchie with back problems—they made sure there was a proper ramp set up so she could move around safely, which meant a lot to us. They were also incredibly responsive and kept us updated throughout the stay. We would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, attentive sitters!
Stephanie did an amazing job with our dogs. They can be anxious when they are away from us, but she was so good with them and made them feel so comfortable. She also responds quickly and provided us with pictures and updates throughout our trip. She is also flexible and was understanding of our possible changes in our trip plans and the delay we had in getting back to pick them up. We would definitely have our dogs stay with her again in the future!

Schedule
My husband and I work as a team! I have grad school coursework Monday-Wednesday mornings and I work as a nurse one day a week, and on those days my husband Scotty is home and fully available to care for your dog. Scotty works from home Monday–Friday, so your dog will rarely be alone and will get plenty of companionship throughout the day. We also take daily walks along the Leschi waterfront and through the neighborhoods. Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks, regular walks, or extra snuggles, we’re able to provide a stable, consistent schedule

We have a fully fenced backyard that’s great for potty breaks, fresh air, and supervised play. We don’t have any other pets or children, so your dog will have a calm, quiet home to relax in. There are several steps leading up to our front door, so pups who stay with us should be comfortable using stairs.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy daily waterfront walks in Leschi, relaxed neighborhood strolls, and plenty of playtime at home. We tailor activities to your pup — from fetch and puzzle toys to cozy cuddle time while Scotty works from home. Your dog gets exercise, enrichment, and lots of love.
