Availability
With my remote, work-from-home lifestyle, I have the flexibility and availability to spend quality time with your pets - whether it's playtime, walks, or just keeping them company. Venturing into Rover gives me the perfect opportunity to earn supplemental income doing something I genuinely love: caring for and playing with pets as part of my day. It's truly the best kind of "job" I could ask for!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I take the time to build trust with every animal in my care, creating a calm, secure environment where they feel at home. You can count on me to treat your pet with the same love, attention, and respect I give my own.
Information Stephanie S. would like to know about your pet
If anything, I'd just ask for the run down of "pet peeves" your dog might have, and any useful information that could help the bond building experience.
A typical day
We'll go on walks either determined by your normal dog walking route, or if you'd like we could venture off to a close by park for some added adventure and curious new smells! Depending on what type of activities your dog enjoys, we could play fetch, wrestle around, or just sit and relax under a tree for some snuggle time.

Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I'm very much a pet enthusiast - some might say I was born with that extra gene only true animal lovers are given. From a young age, I found myself drawn to animals and their care, even shadowing my local vet as soon as I was old enough. By the time I could drive at 16, I was rescuing strays, reuniting them with their families, or helping them find loving homes. That passion led me to become a certified veterinary technician - still my favorite job to date. I now have a lively home filled with 7+ pets of my own, and I've never strayed from my calling. I'm experienced with administering medications, and I'm especially attentive to the needs of senior pets, special needs companions, and the tiniest of young ones. Whether it's playtime, snuggles, or simply keeping them comfortable and happy, I promise to care for your pets as if they were my very own. As an added bonus, I love to take pictures and videos. I'll make sure to stay well in touch and update you with lots of pictures to show all the fun we're having! Looking forward to meeting you and your furbaby :)

Reviews

Always great when Stephanie is able to come sit for us. We use her often.
Stephanie was great with Roxy!

Stephanie was amazing. We needed some short notice help with our medically complex cat and she was a lifesaver. She did a great job caring for him, was very understanding of his specific needs, and went above and beyond to make sure we knew how things were going. We will 100% look to have her pet sit for us again.

Reliable, dependable and friendly thank you!
