Experienced dog owner of 40+ years with extensive experience in dog rescue, foster and volunteer work for the past decade. Experience with all breeds and sizes; all medical needs and special issues. Can run dogs up to 5k and exercise with toys, frisbees, etc. special care, therapy, massage for special needs, seniors, hospice dogs. I’m getting Reiki Certification for Animals once I’m settled. Also a home chef and private chef, so I can make dog food and treats from scratch. My fees are customized to the needs of each client and their fur babies. I charge more because I have extensive experience and I go above and beyond for my clients to care not only for their fur babies but their homes. Some of the extensive services I have offered to my clients have included: specialized routines and protocols; specialized dog food preparation; medical and supplement protocols including injections; customized exercise/play/training; transporting dogs to training, vet, socialization appointments; running errands and grocery shopping; cleaning the home and doing all laundry; organizing and detail clean of refrigerator and other areas; remaking beds for return; preparing meals for return including plant-based, keto, paleo and more (I am a private chef/home chef). In addition I spend 100% of my time at your home and never leave your fur babies unattended, especially outside even if there is a fenced yard. In addition to all that I do, I keep my clients updated as much or as little as they request but I take lots of photos, videos and detailed information on the entire day’s activities, issues, etc. NOTE: CPR and Medical Training Certified!!! *** I now have experience, expressing both bladder and bowels for paralyzed and special-needs animals trained by vet tech***

Stephanie is great! We have 2 older high anxiety dogs with heart problems and a cat that doesn’t like anyone. She was extremely attentive to their needs and made sure they were super comfortable. Usually when we get home, they have a lot of anxiety. This time, it was like we never left!
Stephanie did such a great job taking care of our dog and cat. She was attentive to their needs and kept us updated through out her stay. And the pictures she took of our pets are so so cute. Couldn’t have asked for more!
Stephanie is absolutely the best! She goes the extra mile and genuinely cares for our pets. Even does little things like making sure we come home to a clean house. Definitely recommend!!!
I am so happy we found Stephanie. We have 2 dogs that can sometimes be reactive and sometimes have bad anxiety and so we are very particular about who we trust to watch them. Stephanie went above and beyond with daily updates on how they were doing, and we could tell she really cared about their well being - treating them as her own while she was taking care of them. On top of that, she left our home sparkling clean! We were able to relax on our vacation knowing our pups were getting such great care. Thank you so much Stephanie!! We will definitely be repeat clients :)
Stephanie came to our home for a few hours during the day to spend time with our new puppy and older dog when we were at work for a longer stretch than usual. She was amazing with both dogs who have VERY different needs as they are at opposite ends of the age spectrum. She sent lots of updates on their playtime, which we really appreciated. She truly has a gift for engaging with animals---she is incredibly patient and tuned into their needs. We feel so lucky to have found her!!!
Stephanie is truly amazing. She is compassionate, kind, professional, and trustworthy. She spent a long weekend in our home with our 13 year old dog and 10 week old puppy--not an easy assignment for anyone! She came over a few weeks beforehand to meet us, learn about the dogs, and we really appreciated the opportunity to connect like this. While we were away, the dogs were extremely well cared for, as was our home. She stayed true to the dogs' routines (they are complicated!!) and gave them both loads of love and attention. She was particularly attentive to the needs of our older dog, who is still unsure about life with a puppy. She also had some great suggestions for us regarding the care for our older dog. We have not had anyone stay in our home to watch our dogs previously and Stephanie made us feel very comfortable. She cared for our pets and our home like they were her own; the house was cleaner when we got home then when we left. And while the dogs were excited to see us, we could tell that they had a terrific weekend. Stephanie kept us updated regularly on how they were doing and sent photos and videos. It felt like we were not far away at all. She also asked appropriate questions when something wasn't clear. We feel extraordinarily lucky to have found such a wonderful person and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a pet sitter--whether to drop in and play, go for runs or walks, or stay overnight for short or long stretches.

Schedule
I am currently residing in Oceanside area so I have great flexibility in my schedule and I am l working with several home-based businesses so I will continue to have flexibility in the future. My son who has worked with me for the past decade with dog care is also available as a back up for dog sitting, walking and special care. ***Currently working on Reiki Certification for Animals.

Currently I am only able to care for pets at their home. I can also do dog park outings for doggy exercise and socialization. Cat care too!

A typical day
I love to play and interact with dogs. For older or special needs dogs, I can do some therapeutic movements and massage. I’m able to run up to 5k with dogs that need exercise and can document walks with pics and videos.
