A typical day
When I’m watching dogs, we’ll always go for a walk to get some energy out and enjoy fresh air. I find that games like tug, fetch, and light playtime keep most pups happy and engaged. If you provide treats, I can also practice basic commands to reinforce good manners and obedience. When caring for cats, I let their personality lead the way — some prefer to hide and relax, while others love chasing feathers or batting at toys. Either way, every fur baby I care for gets plenty of love, attention, and gentle affection.

Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet caregiver based in Prescott, AZ. I grew up rescuing and rehoming cats, and as an adult I’ve cared for both dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities and needs. For the past few years, I’ve shared life with Ozzy, my friendly 3-year-old Labradoodle, and my spunky Labradoodle puppy, Maple. We love long walks, playtime at the park, and a good game of tug! Before Ozzy and Maple, I cared for a Goldendoodle for four years, so I’m very familiar with high-energy, social breeds that need both exercise and attention. As a pet parent who has used Rover, I understand how important it is to find reliable, loving care for your furry family member. Whether you need drop-in visits, dog walking, or in-home pet sitting, I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved. Outside of pet care, I’m a freelance photographer and mixology enthusiast, so I bring creativity and calm focus to everything I do. I can’t wait to meet your pet and make them part of my extended furry family!

Stephanie has had a love for animals since she was in preschool. She had a large goldfish who she named Orangey. I still have a picture of her in front of the aquarium with a huge grin. She adopted a litter of kittens when she was in grade school, and named most of them; Kitty, Velcro, Fuzz, Butters and Midnight. She fed a lost cat, and named him Snickles. He became our first porch cat. She also had a peculiar black cat named Buttons. Now, she has a Doodle named Ozzy. He runs around in a wooded, big, fenced back yard. She has taken excellent care of him and takes him to the vet regularly. Stephanie has also done drop ins for our cats, Nashville and Memphis, while we were on vacation or weekend getaways. She has been reliable and even fed the goldfish in our aquariums. Whether Stephanie S. is pet sitting, dog walking, boarding a pet, or providing doggy day care, she should be at the top of your roster.
