All single-visit rates are introductory trial rates. I require at least one visit before booking extended stays or ongoing care to ensure we are a good fit for each other. Boarding: I understand many people would like boarding, but please really consider who you are leaving your pet with especially if you never met the person. Most pets feel MOST COMFORTABLE and experience LESS STRESS in their own home. I’m happy to COME TO YOU so your pet can stay in a familiar, relaxed environment where they are HAPPIEST. I am trained in Pet CPR and First Aid, and pet sitting is my full-time focus. This allows me to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. I welcome all animals, regardless of breed or type. **Pricing:** Rates vary based on pet size, distance, and time required per visit. I first want to say thank you to Stephanie for accommodating my Day Care request. My usual sitter had an emergency, so with just shy of a five day notice, Stephanie was able to fit my pup in. However, I do want to write an honest review, to hopefully help other puppy owners. While Stephanie may be a good fit for older dogs, I don’t think she is the best fit for puppies. I had expressed that I needed daycare for my puppy for 10 hours while I was at work. I expressed that she is equal parts energetic and cuddly. Normally when I pick my pup up from her usual daycare spot, she is soooo tired after a 10 hour day that she can’t even hold her head up. This was the opposite case with Stephanie’s care. My pup had so much energy that it seemed as if she did nothing at all- no playing, not long enough walks, etc. In the report card, Stephanie expressed that my dog was whining out of boredom (which I have never seen her do and my usual sitter said is very unlike my pup as she is with her 2 times a week for 10 hours each). Stephanie also admitted that she could not/did not play with my dog. Puppies are naturally more hyper and require more play time. As long as my pup is offered a chance to play and get her energy out, she’s the first one to cuddle up next to you for some love and naps. Stephanie says she has a fenced in yard, but she does not, and that was definitely a deciding factor when I chose a sitter because I know how much running around a yard helps to get my puppy’s energy out, so I wish the information was accurate and I think could have helped my dog. I also had some communication issues with her. She told me not to use the address that the app provides, which is fine, but then when I was trying to get there in the morning I was getting no response and had a really hard time trying to find the place, which caused me to be a couple minutes late to work. With it being my first time using her, it made the start of the day very uneasy. Like I said, I appreciate her accommodating my pup, and I’m sure she is a good fit for older dogs, but if you have a puppy I would suggest another sitter.
Stephanie was absolutely fantastic with Wally! From the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. She was clearly very experienced and clearly loves dogs. Wally came home happy and tired, and it was obvious he had a great time. Stephanie was very communicative and sent me updates and pictures throughout his stay. I highly recommend Stephanie to any dog owner looking for a loving and reliable sitter. Thank you Stephanie for taking such good care of Wally.
We were in a bind for some last-minute, daytime dog care, and Stephanie responded quickly and followed through. She took good care of him and updated with pictures. Pay close attention to her address instructions when she gives them!
What really sets Stephanie apart is her ability to administer medications with such ease. Knowing that Apollo is getting the proper care and attention, even when I can’t be there, gives me such peace of mind.
