Had a great house sitting visit with Stephanie yet again and plan to utilize her services in the end of June as well. She and Jimmy had a great week while I was out of town. She sent pictures and kept me updated on how things were going. She didn’t just just sit with Jimmy, she actively played with him. I could tell in the pictures Jimmy was having a great time! Also - during my week away, Jimmy found new born bunnies in my fenced in back yard (that’s a first for me) and Stephanie went above and beyond with not only noticing that and updating me, but also making sure Jimmy let them have their space. Highly recommend, Stephanie!

I would not use this house/dog sitter again. While Stephanie was personable initially, my experience was disappointing and concerning. My husband and I utilize indoor and outdoor cameras for home security, and never thought to review the cameras until I had seen obvious usage of restricted areas specifically my bedroom when we returned home. While we were gone on vacation, unauthorized individuals were brought into my home without my knowledge or consent. I had agreed to allowing her “daughter stay over one night” when she had asked me prior to leaving. When I asked Stephanie about this, she stated they were her two daughters. However, upon reviewing my indoor security cameras, I observed a teenage boy and girl instead. These individuals stayed overnight and slept in my guest room, which was intended for Stephanie’s use. The teenage boy can be heard asking the teenage girl “does your mom use DoorDash?” referring to the red bag left on the counter- leading me to believe that the teenage boy was not a child of Stephanie. The teenagers were left in my home while Stephanie left the home. The teenage boy can be heard over the camera stating “I have no where to go”, then shortly after, Stephanie left the house. Additionally, Stephanie used my personal bedroom, which she was not authorized to access or use as that door was closed. The teenagers and Stephanie were also seen going through my pantry and consuming some of my food. Stephanie had every opportunity to text me to ask for permission to enter unauthorized areas as she did text me for other things. I also have serious concerns about the level of care my dog received. Stephanie was away for long stretches of time and only let my dog out a few times a day, sometimes only twice per day. Based on what I observed, it appeared my dog was not consistently given her required afternoon medications, though I cannot definitively prove this. On the cameras, Stephanie can also be heard complaining about having to clean up dog urine, which further raised concerns about attentiveness and care as the dog does not make a mess in the house. While Stephanie was personable, I was completely unimpressed with both the care of my dog and the disregard for my home and clearly stated boundaries. I would not recommend her services if this behavior would concern you.
