I’ve cared for pets of all ages and sizes—from energetic puppies and curious kittens to sweet senior dogs and cats needing extra TLC. I have years of hands-on experience walking dogs of every size, including large breeds like German Shepherds, and I’m always mindful of each pet’s pace, comfort, and needs. Whether it’s playtime, medication, or a quiet cuddle, I tailor my care to make every pet feel safe, loved, and understood.

I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, maintain a clean and calm environment, and make sure pets feel safe, secure, and loved. I keep doors locked, am mindful of feeding and medication routines, and always do a safety check before and after walks. Building trust—with both pets and their people—is my top priority.

Stephanie has watched my 2 cats multiple times over the last 2 years in DC. I have had other pet sitters before, but Stephanie has by far been the most attentive, caring, and trustworthy individual that has cared for my fur babies. She is always in communication with me as soon as she comes over to watch my cats, tells me how they look and how much they’ve eaten and drank, and takes the cutest photos ever of them which helps me feel less sad about being away from them. Leaving my fur babies is always hard, but Stephanie always puts me at ease knowing they’re getting the best care, attention, and cuddles possible. If my cats could talk, I know they would be asking when’s the next time she’s coming over to play!

Schedule
Pet care is a regular part of my week! I’m available for dog walks during the day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I’m also available most evenings and throughout the weekend for walks, drop-ins, or house sitting. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for when you’re away.
