Hello, my name is Stephanie. I love animals and the joy they bring to our lives. I understand animal’s needs for care and love. I use positive reinforcement training techniques. I can pet sit for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds and some others by request, like chickens, goats, alpaca and llamas. I have volunteered at an alpaca farm. My animal experience started young, I grew up on a hobby farm in rural San Diego. We had many animals including dogs, cats, chicken, ducks, geese, pigs, and rabbits. Recently I had a sweet indoor/outdoor cat that I cared for him young through senior age with special health needs. As an adult I’ve had a Pit Bull-American Bulldog mix, a turtle and more cats. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a Water Studies minor from MSU Denver and the One World, One Water center. I choose to pet sit because I enjoy being with all animals, and I love cats and dogs.

I ask questions to get to know the animal’s routine, how you would like your pets and home to be cared for while I am there. I will send you picture updates of your pets while I am in your home. I leave your home clean after the stay. I will send you pictures regularly. I will also provide other basic services such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, adjusting shades, putting out trash bins etc. Just let me know what you need!

Stephanie did an exemplary job keeping me posted about Frodo and sending tons of pics. It was more clear that he was actively being taken care of (moreso than any other sitter i’ve worked with on Rover to date). She asked great questions to make sure he was well cared for and comfortable and made pick up and drop off a breeze.
Stephanie did a great job in taking care of our precious cat. He seemed happy when we got home. Stephanie did a great job in following directions, communicating, and respecting our home. We look forward to having Stephanie love our cat again during our next trip.
Stephanie is a fantastic dog and house sitter! Our two dogs (one senior and one rescue) have a lot of needs/instructions and Stephanie handled them expertly and with great care. She provided helpful updates throughout the day and communicated well about the dogs and house needs. We would highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a compassionate and detail oriented dog sitter!
Stephanie was fantastic! She was willing to accommodate my requests while cat sitting my elderly cat to make sure that she was comfortable and stress-free. She took great care of her and great care of my place. I was grateful to have a thoughtful sitter like Stephanie.
This was our first time using Rover. Stephanie was very responsive from the initial correspondence. We needed someone trustworthy and intuitive to watch our dogs and stay at our house fast a last minute trip. She handled the house and the dogs so well, and was so good about messaging and picture updates. We will definitely be using her again in the future!
Stephanie spends time to get to know our cats and is great in helping to take care of plants!

Schedule
While pet sitting I am available to stay at your home and take your dog(s) for a walks. I have a flexible work schedule. Happy to give your pets lots of attention.
