Hello! We’re Rob and Stephanie — a couple living in beautiful Canmore who work from home and have built our lives around adventure, companionship, and the unconditional love of dogs. We have a pet-free, child-free home that is calm and relaxed for you dog. For 16 wonderful years, our best friend Ollie was by our side on every trail, lake, and paddle. From sunrise hikes to riverside swims and countless walks through every season, Ollie filled our days with joy and love. Though he’s no longer with us, his spirit still guides our daily walks — and now there’s just a little more room in our hearts (and on the couch) for your pup. When Ollie first came into our lives, he was a shy and uncertain puppy, unsure of the big world around him. With patience, care, and love, he grew into a confident, curious dog who could calmly handle new places and experiences. That journey taught us how to read dog body language, anticipate tricky situations, and create a safe, peaceful environment for dogs of all temperaments. Helping Ollie blossom was one of the most rewarding chapters of our lives, and it shaped the way we now care for every dog we meet. We understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pup — especially seniors or sensitive dogs who may need a little extra attention. Our focus is on providing a calm, reliable, and loving home where your dog feels secure, cared for, and truly part of the family. We’d love the chance to welcome your dog into our home. (We’re also happy to consider caring for them in your home, if that’s preferred.)

Stephanie and Rob are top tier dog sitters. They are reliable, communicate clearly, and provided updates and pictures throughout our dog's stay. It's clear that they love dogs and we felt like our pup was on his own little holiday during his time with them. Only downside is that your dog may not want to leave. 5+++ stars for these amazing humans!

This was our first time leaving our dogs with anyone other than family and I was just a little apprehensive but the moment I met Stephanie, I felt completely at ease and out Goldens felt right at home right away. She and Robert took great care of them, took them for outdoor play and they even left with a special treat! 100 percent recommend trusting them with your dogs and we will abyreach out again in the future! Stephanie was awesome. She was very accommodating and easy to talk to. She sent pictures of our fur baby right away, updated us, and took care of him and catered to his needs. Would definitely book with her again.
Stephanie and Robert took such amazing care of our little baby, Lola, the night of our wedding in Canmore. We did a meet and greet before and knew we could trust them with Lola. We were able to enjoy the night of our wedding without worrying about Lola and will definitely use Stephanie and Robert again in the future!!
Stephanie was lovely and took very good care of my senior dog. She sent pictures/updates of Maggie during her stay, which was so nice to see! She responded to messages quickly and I would not hesitate to book again. Thank you!

Schedule
We work from home and can go for walks at least 3 times per day with short potty breaks in between. We will adapt to your dogs schedule! We will never leave your dog alone while in our care - your dog will be our only focus!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a yard, but no fence. All outdoor activity will be on leash. Your dog will be free to roam our house unless they need constant supervision (puppy, counter surfer, marker). If your dog sits on your couch and sleeps in your bed, then they will sit on our couch and sleep in our bed!
Pets
A typical day
We will let your dog guide our activities. We can go for long or short walks, play inside or out or snuggle in front of the TV. We will make sure there is constant attention and companionship in a relaxed loving environment.
