I am extremely passionate about animals and love spending time with them and making sure they're happy. I've always been around animals for most of my life, and just enjoy being around them. I'm always pottering outside feeding the birds or making DIY wildlife houses. I have a 12 year old rescue cat called Shadow who is my absolute everything (and is my literal Shadow hence the name). She's quite a feral girl who is quite nervous and not an easy girl to take to the vets or even put flea treatment on! So I do lots of consent training with her and enrichment to build her confidence. She got really badly attacked by another cat which is how we ended up on a farm to keep her safer. I hate leaving her and use a cat sitter myself when I'm away and I like to see photo's of her, know that she's been played with, had strokes, been fed, clean water etc … so I'm very particular about giving that same service because I know what its like when you're away from them. Before moving to Wales, I was a volunteer at Battersea cattery in Windsor for 8 years as well as cat sitting. I've learned a lot about cat behaviour and their needs and I'm really passionate about positive/treat-based training techniques. I work as a personal trainer and nutritionist (mainly online but I work with a few people 1-1 which I can usually work pet sitting around), but pet sitting gets me out of the house, it gives me a bit of variety and enrichment in my life and of course I get to spend time with animals. I have a clean driving licence, therefore can get to the vet if there was ever an emergency. I'm happy to visit a house that has other animals too. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Unfortunately I can't offer boarding as I have a very scared cat, but if you're looking for someone to stay over at your house with your pet, as long as my partner isn't traveling for work and can look after our cat, then I can do so.

Stephanie looked after my little cat, Bonnie, so that I could take a short break overseas. Bonnie is a rescue cat and had not met people other than me since adopting her in January of this year. She also does not like other cats. I was a little apprehensive as to how she would adapt to someone new coming to the house. Stephanie arranged to visit us a few days before my trip, and I found her to be very professional, polite, and obviously an animal lover. Bonnie interacted with her quite well, which both surprised and delighted me, I was very relieved at how well she took to Stephanie. I was able to go away with no worries about leaving her; Stephanie sent me regular updates with photos, and I could see Bonnie was happy and relaxed in her company. The house was left very tidy and all was in order on my return. If Stephanie is available to sit for me again, I will definitely ask her to return and care for Bonnie in future.

Steph went above and beyond with the cutest updates which absolutely made my day. She made a real effort with making the kitties comfortable and was just an absolute angel all round! Thank you 😊
Steph was the perfect companion/food-giving servant for Smidge when we went away. She gave all the cuddles and lap time that were demanded, and sent us photo and video evidence! Great communication before, during and after. Will happily ask Steph to come and feed Smidge again :)

Schedule
I work as an online personal trainer and nutritionist and I do have some clients that I travel to and work with 1-1 but I can usually work around them. Thursdays I have an evening client in Cardiff which means I'm unavailable between 3:30-6:30pm, but if you're happy for me to visit after this time then I'm happy to do so.
