All water drops or pee piddles are cleaned up with pet-safe sanitation spray. The door locks are always double checked upon departure. A typical day
I love playing fetch with their favorite toys, but if they are not into fetch, I'm happy to run with them around the yard to get their energy out. I can take the dogs on a drive to the hiking trail as my car is equipped with doggie safety equipment.

Animal Shelter Enrichment Volunteer, Stephanie "Stevie" is experienced with managing the special needs of high-anxiety and/or reactive dogs. She has rescued and rehabilitated 3 dogs of her own, and 6 cats. She is an active volunteer at the local animal shelter, helping with adoption events and enrichment activities. Stevie has been a pet-sitter since she was 12 years old. She started with plants and birds, and now 20 years later, can work with any animal, including ones that require bottle feedings, complex medication schedules, or homestays up to 2 weeks. Farm animals too! Chickens, ducks, and goats! She was a camp counselor for 3 summers and also conducted a work exchange at a homestead farm for 1 summer. She successfully worked for Trusted Housesitters but has switched to Rover for more local opportunities.

Stevie has watched my cat and my dog numerous times. Both of my animals love her and get excited when she comes in the room. She is great with any and all animals. She makes sure to spend a good amount of time with them (playing, feeding, walking and cleaning up after them) and gave me updates along the way. I would choose Stevie to watch my animals every time!
