I’ve been a dog owner for 8 years, but a dog lover my whole life. Growing up without a dog, it was my dream to one day not only own a dog, but to care and love for all animals. As soon as my husband and I bought our own place to live, we knew adding a dog to our family would be first on our list. We now have 2 sweet, high energy labrador retrievers. Our yellow one, named Copper, was born in 2016 and our black one, named Buddy, was born the following year. We have had both dogs since they were about 7 weeks old. I also have experience in care of small dogs too. My parents have had 2 shih-tzus since 2012 & 2013 and I’ve occasionally cared for them, more so when I was in college. (But I see and play with them on a regular basis) I have some small farm animals in our backyard. I have had 2 Nigerian dwarf goats since 2022 and chickens since 2024.
