I am a recent graduate from Cal Poly Humboldt, so I can easily fit caring for pets into my schedule. I am currently hunting for a job, so I am very available right now. If you need me to house sit during the week, I am available to do so as long as I can leave to care for my own cat and return.

I am able to provide a variety of needs to you and your pets. Their safety and health is my priority. While I cannot board pets at my apartment, I am happy to watch pets at your home! I will happily adhere to your pet's personal feeding and walking schedules. Of course, play time is a must. I am also able to take care of some simple grooming, such as brushing, bathing, trimming nails, and cleaning ears (so long as your pets are comfortable with it). If your pet requires medication, I am able to do so as long as I am given proper instructions based on your pet's needs.

Please let me know if your dog is known to be aggressive in any way. I am fairly good at reading behaviors, but I like to know if there are certain areas they do not want to be touched (like their feet), if they do not like to be picked up, or if they are aggressive toward other animals so I know to keep my distance on walks.
A typical day
A typical day would look like walking your dog as soon as I arrive if I know they’ve been inside for a while, playing with them, lots and lots of pets, feeding, and more walks. I tend to walk them for at least 30 minutes and just go around the neighborhood, unless you have specified how long/where to walk them.

Pet care experience
I have been around various household pets since I can remember! I grew up in a household that had several dogs and cats at one time, and even other pets like turtles, rats, hamsters, and fish. Pets are just a part of my life and I know what a vital role they play. That is why I want to help others care for their animal family members. I have been taught how to properly feed, brush & bathe dogs and cats (though bathing cats can be challenging), trim their nails safely, and clean their ears. I also know how important play time is, especially for youngsters. I currently care for a single cat who is 2 years old and is a lot of energy. On top of caring for household pets, I also have 5 years of experience caring for wildlife, such as birds and small rodents, at a rehabilitation center. There, I stuck to a strict care regimen of constant feeding, cleaning, and administering medicine. So, if you are seeking someone with a lot of pet-care experience who shares a love for animals, look no further!

Our dog was happy and house clean upon arrival!
Stephanie was what we were hoping for the first time we used Rover!! Everything we asked she did and beyond. Mac didn’t even care that we were back home. Our house was left the way it was when we left which made the wife very happy. Highly recommend Stephanie!!
Stephanie is awesome with dogs and she has been surrounded with them her whole life. She has so much care & love for all animals as if they were her own. She is a natural when it comes to making fur babies happy, like she has a real personal connection with them. Steph is sweet, responsible, & great with communication! I trust her to take good care of my pup and know that she will always exceed my expectations.
Stephanie has personally taken care of my 2 dogs Twynkle (80lbs Lab/German Shepard mix) & Toboe (60lbs Cattle Dog) on multiple occasions for day trips to week long trips. Every time our pups have been cared for, walked, medicated, etc any instructions we left for her she was able to do. Stephanie is a big lover of animals and has been surrounded by them her entire life from house pets, to volunteering at wild sanctuaries to care for exotic birds, to studying wildlife biology in university. You can place your trust in her with your animal-babies and I cannot recommend her more! 🐶
